Emerald Night with M Motor Issues

Im new to the forums and has have anyone put an m size motor in the emerald night? I bought one and i am having trouble. Can someone help me?

You should find instructions on how to motorize your train at the end of the instruction booklet.

The correct motor is the XL motor, I think that the medium size is undersized for the Emerald ...you can see on this page the LEGO® 9V Technic Motors compared characteristics

Certainly appears to be an issue with the size of your motor. We welcome new members TomixNscale89, but the intent of this forum is not really to resolve technical problems you're having with your LEGO Train. I suggest you introduce yourself in the Registry and/or the Community Forum as this is your first post on EB and become acquainted with some of the other members.
