Been lurking for a while, love the photo blog of great custom scenes, follower on facebook.

I know people are more into MOCs but I'm still collecting the basic classic sets. I wonder if anyone has a photo showing every set together: Imperial Trading Post, Eldorado Fortress, Sabre Island, Cannon Cove, Lagoon Lock up, Caribbean Clipper, etc... Also what about even the updated sets like Soldier's Fort / Imperial Flagship? I tried searching but can't find anything.

I don't have everything on one photo, but in several photos I have all Imperial Soldiers and Guards sets compiled together:

I hope that this is close to what you have expected to see :-).

I am not interesting in MOCing I don't see the appeal, I only enjoy collecting the official sets and since coming out of my Dark age I have 16 sets from the classic era and will not stop till I have got them all.

Before I left for college, I was planning to buy 2 Imperial Flagships to add them together. I was hoping to add an additional deck to my ship and extend it a little bit. However, when college rolled around, I didn't have enough money for the second one so I kind of just gave up on it.

I'm with you guys, at the moment I am most interesting in collecting official sets. Probably because my mocs never match well. If I ever master the art of creating lego that looks like 89-96 era official sets, I will start being more interesting in mocing. In the mean time I create mocs kind of by picking components of official sets (a wall, tower, some other modular component) and combining those to create something unique that goes well with the officials. Also I modify newer sets to make them look more like what I consider to be golden era sets. My biggest problem is not having enough legos!

I too would love to see a photo or video of all the official sets displayed, not just next to each other but combined with continuous baseplates and perhaps a little landscaping. Framed in a way to create the illusion of a lego world. In a year or two I hope to be able to provide that picture myself!

This guy HiffieLego does a great job of displaying official pirate and castle sets, but doesn't show them all together at once.

Really cool photos...old imperial sets were so great...is a shame 2009 imperial fortress was much worse than the old sets "Eldorado Fortress" and "Imperial trading post"...but in the other hand 2010 imperial flagshio was much better than Caribbean Clipper and 1992 Imperial Flagship.

If TLC would release cool sets of the spaniards in 1996...sadly they only released 2 sets

Damn, those are some nice collections. If I had just a third of them . . .

I have the Trading Post and Barracuda now, looking for the Eldorado next. :pir-cry_happy:

I am planning to buy Eldorado and Trading Post next semester, first I'll have to do studentwork for the money as it is really expensive when I look to bricklink... :jollyroger:
