rucorder Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 Built high in the mountains of Mitgardia, this tower watches over a dangerous pass. Mitgardian Watchtower by Ru Corder, on Flickr Any thoughts would be welcome. Thanks for viewing! Quote
Captain BeerBeard Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 That is a great tower. I like how you did the steps. I don't know if I have seen that before. I like the path through the snow. Great job! Quote
Artanis I Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 Solid effort. The tower is good, the snow is good, the path is good but the road could do with some more detail - then it would be even better! Quote

The tower is good, the snow is good, the path is good but the road could do with some more detail - then it would be even better! I agree. That's a quick fix. If you have a tan bush or two could help. A dead frozen tree could spice it up a bit more. Quote
Cij Daoke Posted November 25, 2011 Posted November 25, 2011 Great Tower, really clean style, and the steps are amazing! Quote
TenorPenny Posted November 25, 2011 Posted November 25, 2011 I like the moulding on the steps through the snow. A great effort in keeping with the Midgardian aesthetic. Quote
de Gothia Posted November 25, 2011 Posted November 25, 2011 I like the fact that is missing tress, bushes. Things like that doesn´t have to grow on places like this! As I said in the Mithgardia thread, this is really good! Great work! Quote
Hersbrucker Posted November 25, 2011 Posted November 25, 2011 Wow, thats "cool" The Landscape looks realy good, with the proposals it would be perfect. Quote
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted November 25, 2011 Posted November 25, 2011 Very nice work rucorder! The tower is awesome and the architecture great! I like the snow and the stone path that lead to the tower ...this is a masterpiece! Quote
Basiliscus Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 Great steps and landscaping. Loving the tower too! Quote
rucorder Posted November 26, 2011 Author Posted November 26, 2011 I like the fact that is missing tress, bushes. Things like that doesn´t have to grow on places like this! That's kind of what I was thinking, some brown bushes would look nice but I sadly lack them. Wow, thats "cool" Punny! Quote
Trent Posted December 4, 2011 Posted December 4, 2011 This is possibly my favourite of all of the towers - the detailing on it is superb, such as the indented windows, the round bricks on the corners, the turrets, the tiles and the variation in grey. The snow is great, and the steps are excellent...the muddy path works well as a contrast. Great great work. Quote
