Oky Posted December 4, 2011 Posted December 4, 2011 Interesting. I'm not sure if this is an eligible entry as the point of this category is to create a home for one of the Batman minifigures, or so I thought. I admire your attempt to think outside the box by making it Miniland scale. This is a good build; Batman himself is very recognizable, and the building looks nice. However, I am not a big fan of your interpretation of the Joker. In your version he owns a mansion and actually dresses up like a circus clown which doesn't sound anything like any incarnation of the Joker that I have ever heard of. Interesting concept though. TooMuchCaffeine Posted December 4, 2011 Posted December 4, 2011 I love this. Your Batman figure is excellent. Quote
Oky Posted December 4, 2011 Posted December 4, 2011 Oh, I see. Still, this looks more like one of the Joker's goons than the Clown Prince of Crime himself. Quote
halomaster96 Posted December 4, 2011 Posted December 4, 2011 Oh, I see. Still, this looks more like one of the Joker's goons than the Clown Prince of Crime himself. You're right, when I look at this I do not see Joker, although Batman looks fantastic! Quote
The Penguin Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 Oh, I see. Still, this looks more like one of the Joker's goons than the Clown Prince of Crime himself. Yes, I agree here. The entry is very good and everything, but it doesn't really look like a home for a villain that way. Do you think you couls make a Joker minifig? Meanwhile I'll discuss that with WhiteFang. Good day, ladies and gentlemen! ) Quote
Miss Kyle Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 One of the many things I like about Batman is that the theme leaves so much room for interpretation. I find this entry really original, even more since the Joker figure looks different from his "usual" appearance. Quote
The Penguin Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 Ok, so WhiteFang and and I have just had a discussion on your entry and we would like you to do the following: 1) In the discription of the vig state clearly that it is a home for Joker/ Perhaps give some backstory. For reference you can look how it had been done by other members. 2) We would like you to make a Joker figure instead of the goon one. On a personal note, I'd really love to see you do it, since you have a very strong entry with very good chances! Good day, ladies and gentlemen! ) Quote

Skrytsson Posted December 12, 2011 Posted December 12, 2011 (edited) Very interesting entry, indeed However, I thought Penguin stated earlier that the entries had to be minifig-scale? Edited December 12, 2011 by Skrytsson Quote
