Esurient Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 (edited) Hi all, This is my first ever community build for SW and Eurobricks. My build is simple, it is a re-creation of a scene in Episode 1 where young Anakin is in his backyard building and testing his podracer. His podracer looks broken, can he win the upcoming race? Waid,"You're such a joker, Ani". Girl 1,"You've been working on that thing for years!" Girl 2,"It's never going to run..." Boy 1,"Let's go play ball". Padme, thinking to herself, "Anakin is so handsome". Version 1 Version 2 Anakin, "Hey Jarjar, keep your hands off those energy bindings, don't get caught by them". Jarjar, "Ouch, mryyy tounggggggge" C-3PO, "Hi, I am C 3PO and this is R2-D2, and we are standing here doing nothing". Edited February 8, 2012 by Esurient Quote
JackJonespaw Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Looks nice! I like the use of the Mechanic's tool box. Not something you'd usually see in Star Wars. Quote
Mr Man Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Numb tongue numb tongue . Is that the official pod-racer Esurient? Quote
Oky Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Wow, that was fast! A bit too fast... This is a nice scene, but it looks like you just threw a few minifigs and random pieces along with the official podracer on a baseplate. It would be good if you could add some more scenery such as the slumps. Also, a tan baseplate would be more suitable if you have one. Certainly a funny presentation though. Quote

I saw a toolbox in the movie so I was like "S6 Mechanic toolbox!". lol Numb tongue numb tongue . Is that the official pod-racer Esurient? That is the podracer from set 7962. Wow, that was fast!
