That's strange, your profile shows up fine when I look.

Your avatar also shows up for me, perhaps it is your browser that doesn't support it?

You don't have a message box yet, since you are a new member, you will have one in due time.

Hope that helps? :classic:

Have you tried clearing your cache?

If that is not it then I suggest downloading the new version of your web service or trying a new one.

i can tell only this:when i try to click members i have this message:

[#10221] You do not have permission to view the member listing

thanks for the help

Most of this will not be an issue when you cross the 10 post limitation for such things.

When you've got 10 posts or more, the Gallery gets viewable and so does the view members profile and your mailbox.

That's can be the correct answer, thank you very much!

Hi guys!

I signed up today and, for some reason, I can't view my profile! Anybody know why or is it just a glitch? :pir-sceptic:

This topic belongs in Website & Forums. A quick look reveals the following about rank:

Since PMs stored is disabled for users with less than ten posts, then I would assume that your profile viewing and editing has also been disabled.

You sir are correct, at 10 posts, these fun filled activities will become available, but remember with great power comes great responsibility.

Sorry, I got a bit sidetracked.

I am new here at Eurobricks, and was wanting to know why it wont let me view mine, or any other profile. If you know why, please tell me! Thank you. :pir-classic: Also, after posting this, I realized I had posted it in the wrong forum. If there is a moderator who reads this, please move it if you have the time thank you! :pir-blush:

Yeah, it's annoying I know; I made this change recently. I'm hoping to work out a cleaner solution but for now until you're "promoted" to Vassal in 7 posts you can't. This is because spammers were commenting on people's profiles... and posting off topic links. (Not sure why; search engines can't view the profiles either so there was no benefit for them. :pir-hmpf: ) By forcing people to make 10 posts first we have something to look at when determining someones joining motivation and posting style.

I'll move this from Pirates. :pir-wink:

For some reason I am unable to look at profiles, including my own. I would quite like to know if i've broken a rule or there is something i'm missing.

Look here. The question has recently been asked and addressed.

Ah! Thank you very much. Somewhat Ironically, I believe it was this last post that made me a Vassal. Funny old world!

I have a further problem, I created an entire topic showing one of my MOCs, but at the last minute it told me I was not allowed to. Is this because I'm only a Vassal or some other reason. If it is I do think it should be more clear what we can and can't do at different levels within the site.

I've got 8 post sunder my belt but still can't view profiles - I thought I'd be deemed profile-worthy at 7!

It's 10 posts. The reason Siegfried said 7 earlier is because legodude116 was at 3.
