Excellent work 'HIGHWAY PATROL', the first one could have also passed as a fire fighting vehicle too (reminds me a little of Squad 51). :sweet:

They all are great vehicles, the straight pick-ups and the 4x4's too !

Keep them coming 'HIGHWAY PATROL' and Brick On Truck On !

That's funny how the world works, I was doing some research into trucks (I haven't built one yet) and was reading about how they have bases like this that are modified for many different jobs. Now here you are posting great examples

Those are some cool Pick-ups, the snow plow is my favourite. I have to admit, though, that I find the front mudguards to be a bit too high, especially at the first and the third fire truck it looks somehow odd to me. Has the real vehicle actually the same feature?

Here is my serie off pick up trucks.

There all based on the same base.

Now this is really awesome stuff - why build each new MOC from scratch when there is already a functional and goodlooking base you can use? I had a similar idea with my 7 wide cars which use exactly the same wheelbase.

The pick-up trucks themselves are designed very well, too, they look sturdy and nice! I must say I am not so fond of combining those wheels with those mudguards since they have quite the same diameter. How about the new mudguards? I think they would fit very well here.

Anyway a very convincing system you have developed, I like it very much!

These are a lot of great trucks!

I am looking forward to indexing these. :sweet:

My only comment for the trucks with the larger tires in the front is for them to use the new mud guards, so that the tires can be closer to the mud guards and the truck still looks very close to the original version:

Thanks for all the tumbs up.

And the new mudguards are maybe better.

The only problem is that i don't have them yet.

Maybe i order some to change the pick ups.

I myself had the same problem with the mudguards i used now  .
