WesternOutlaw Posted October 20, 2006 Posted October 20, 2006 I thought I would share some great Haunted Houses from Brickshelf. These are all very good, a few better than others. Share your thoughts. Quote
WesternOutlaw Posted October 21, 2006 Author Posted October 21, 2006 I guess no one appreciates a a good Haunted House these days... Quote
Brick Miner Posted October 21, 2006 Posted October 21, 2006 i find it interesting that 2 out of 7 of these images have digitally edited backgrounds. that percentage seems way higher than the average BrickShelf find *wacko* from what i have seen, it's usually 0 :-D maybe it's getting more popular ;-) - Brick Miner Quote
Starwars4J Posted October 21, 2006 Posted October 21, 2006 I think these are fantastic! Some of them are truly beautiful as a stand-alone house, while others shine as an example of halloween (I'm looking at you, witches house with cobwebs) Any more? X-D Quote
oo7 Posted October 23, 2006 Posted October 23, 2006 Any more? X-D Sure! (mostly click-able pics) And technicaly not haunted but has a potential to be; Quote
Lost Viking Posted October 23, 2006 Posted October 23, 2006 Wow, those are nice! That last one is amazing. Quote
oo7 Posted October 23, 2006 Posted October 23, 2006 That last one is actually a winning Wayne Manor model for a contest on Hinckley39s website, brickzone.net, and those minifigs are Alfred, Bruce and Raz'Al Ghul. Although I don't know what is with the cannon... Quote
Brick Miner Posted October 23, 2006 Posted October 23, 2006 Wow, those are nice! That last one is amazing.im not a big fan of victorian residential architecture (which is why i don't really care for most of these)... but i have to agree, that last house is great !!! if it were about twice as tall, it would make a great 1900's style skyscraper (which, oddly enough, i am a big fan of X-D ).however (i agree, 007) it doesn't look like there is any indication of a haunting going on there ;-) but our image of a haunted house is almost always a victorian mansion... so it most definitely has potential *y* - BrickMiner Quote
WesternOutlaw Posted October 24, 2006 Author Posted October 24, 2006 Beautiful detail on the last house. I love the color combination of light grey and tan. I would never have thought to use these colors together. The architecture is very sharp. This would make a great Vampire's Mansion. And check out the lights- very nice. Quote
