WesternOutlaw Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 I don't know if anyone of you have ever played this little game, but it's sort of fun (esp. out in the wilderness around a camp fire). Oh well, I suppose this is the digital age now... In any case: The game starts out: It was a dark and stormy night... Each person/participant adds a single line to the story. The story goes anywhere and it's a lot of fun. If someone would like to continue, I will start the story by saying: It was a dark and stormy night... Quote
Starwars4J Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 Mary, as usual, was in her office working late into the night Quote
WesternOutlaw Posted October 24, 2006 Author Posted October 24, 2006 But this night, Mary was not alone. Quote
WesternOutlaw Posted October 25, 2006 Author Posted October 25, 2006 Someone or something was in the copy machine room. Quote
Zane Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 She'd heard the story of the Phantom of the Copy Machine from the boss, and as she looked into the room, she saw a creature. Quote
Starwars4J Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 Her hand blindly stumbled along the wall for the light switch as the shadowy figure scurried into the shadows Quote
xwingyoda Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 Mary tried to persuade herself that this "creature" was the boss' idiotic cat. Quote
JINZONINGEN73 Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 Her ears picked up the cat, growling underneath a cubicle between her and the shadowy form... to her horror. Quote
xwingyoda Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 Her eyes suddenly focused on the source of the confusion, it was a rat, a bloody rat !! Mary was furious at herself to be scared to death by a vulgar rat. Then suddenly the door of the copy room slamed violently... Quote
Starwars4J Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 Mary screamed and backed away from the door in a start, tripping over a box on the floor, suddenly out of breath...and very cold Quote
JINZONINGEN73 Posted October 26, 2006 Posted October 26, 2006 Not being able to come to her senses quick enough, she panicked... a feeling magnified by an almost tangible feeling of dread coming up from something behind her field of vision... Quote
Norrington Posted October 26, 2006 Posted October 26, 2006 then she heard scuffling, and someone drawing a knife, but it was just her co-worker, johnson, he had a tray of biscuts, and asked, "how many do you want?" but then their heard some more noises, and it was in the main office in mary's cubicle. Quote
Athos Posted October 26, 2006 Posted October 26, 2006 They crept slowly back into the main office and approached Mary's cubicle. Peering around the corner they saw Jane, another co-worker. As Jane turned around, the suddenly relieved duo were entranced by Jane's exceptionally large... Quote
Starwars4J Posted October 26, 2006 Posted October 26, 2006 smile as she sat at her desk in complete darkness (that was mean, athos :-P ) Quote
Sir Dillon Posted October 26, 2006 Posted October 26, 2006 Mary breathed a sigh of relief and smiled back at Jane, then turned and walked right into Quote
Lost Viking Posted October 26, 2006 Posted October 26, 2006 Carl the janitor, sticking out of his pants he had a great big... :-P Quote
WesternOutlaw Posted October 26, 2006 Author Posted October 26, 2006 wrench he planned to use on that dripping faucet that Mary and Jane had repeatedly complained about. Quote
Sir Dillon Posted October 26, 2006 Posted October 26, 2006 What he planned on doing and what actually happened were two different things entirely, though. Because as soon as he got a good grip on the wrench Quote
WesternOutlaw Posted October 26, 2006 Author Posted October 26, 2006 Johnson grabbed him and began choking his neck! The wrench fell to the ground and landed on a bloody tray of biscuits. Clank! Quote
Athos Posted October 26, 2006 Posted October 26, 2006 cried Mary. "Stanley Clank, get over here and clean up this mess!" Quote
WesternOutlaw Posted October 26, 2006 Author Posted October 26, 2006 Mary was more concerned over the spilled biscuits than poor Carl who was struggling to breath in the clenches of Johnson's grasp. :-X Quote
Lost Viking Posted October 26, 2006 Posted October 26, 2006 As Mary looked up to the noise of Carl struggling and Johnson repeatedly saying, "Here's Johnson", she screamed because Johnson... Quote
Sir Dillon Posted October 26, 2006 Posted October 26, 2006 handed her a clean biscuit. Mary smiled, then Quote
Athos Posted October 27, 2006 Posted October 27, 2006 popped the biscut into her mouth, licked her lips and brushed the crumbs off her very large... Quote
