WesternOutlaw Posted October 29, 2006 Posted October 29, 2006 Along the outskirts of the desolate town of Grave Stone, a spooky wooden bridge stands as the one pass leading out of the forsaken town. A mysterious fog engulfs the rickety covered bridge and it is said that many have entered the bridge but few have reached the other side. It is best to take one's chances spending the night in Grave Stone than trying to get out through Dead Man's Bridge! *skull* NOTE: As we are nearing Halloween, this will be my last MOC as part of the Grave Stone collection. I hope you have enjoyed these MOCs as I've had a lot of fun building them and writing about the spooky old Ghost Town of Grave Stone. Quote
Brick Miner Posted October 29, 2006 Posted October 29, 2006 it is said that many have entered the bridge but few have reached the other side.what a chilling concept B !!! very cool, had to quote it ;-) i think i might like to see the bridge built on a blue plate though. - BrickMiner Quote
oo7 Posted October 29, 2006 Posted October 29, 2006 *y* A Covered bridge, Nice idea! And I also agree with Brick Miner, It would be better with some type of river bed, blue full of water of tan and dry. Right now it's a little hard to tell that it's a bridge and not a house on stilts. Quote
WesternOutlaw Posted October 29, 2006 Author Posted October 29, 2006 The "putrid water" of Grave Stone dried up many years ago, but there is a rumor that it still runs underground deep beneath the Whispering Windmill. Actually: I did have another bridge early in the development of the Grave Stone MOCs. It was much longer and ran over blue plates. I really didn't care for the overall look, and ended up wrecking it. This is much better (as it uses brown bricks instead of the original color (lt. green)). Point made though, but Grave Stone is now just bricks in the wind... Quote
Asuka Posted October 29, 2006 Posted October 29, 2006 A very fine idea and a good building too, but why is there a chimney on the roof of a bridge? Well, i think this is just adding some more mysteries to your stories, sad that we could not see more of them now.... Quote
WesternOutlaw Posted October 29, 2006 Author Posted October 29, 2006 Not a chimney, but rather just an old tin vent for air to get in and out. Quote
