soccerkid6 Posted March 23, 2012 Posted March 23, 2012 (edited) Here is my entry to the micro Valholl competition. It definitely has a ton more SNOT than any of my previous creations. I had a little bit of trouble getting everything to work, but I am happy with the result. Without further ado... Rogue Angel Posted March 23, 2012 Posted March 23, 2012 This is a beautiful Micro-scale build. I really like your piece usage for trees and plants, and the palace is original as well. I like the 1x1 round plate towers as well. I think the best thing though is the base for all of this, the way you have created roads and parks and lawns. Excellent work! Quote
soccerkid6 Posted March 23, 2012 Author Posted March 23, 2012 Thanks It was a very good learning experience for me to do the whole base, and some of the buildings in SNOT. Quote
I Scream Clone Posted March 23, 2012 Posted March 23, 2012 A really nice rendition of Valholl. Its easy to forget that it is an LDD MOC, though the effort put into LDD to produce the detail is great. Quote
soccerkid6 Posted March 24, 2012 Author Posted March 24, 2012 Thanks, that really means a lot to me, especially coming from you. It is rather annoying that many great micro scale techniques don't work in LDD. Quote
Si-MOCs Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 Wow. Some really great piece usage! The finger hinge bricks are awesome! Also loved your creative tree tops :O Well done and good luck! Quote
Ecclesiastes Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 That's pretty well done! The design of the towers and walls are excellent as is the landscaping. And your version of the temple is much better than mine, so kudo's!! Quote
