touthomme Posted March 31, 2012 Posted March 31, 2012 (edited) I started building two models for the Architecture contest, as I wasn't really sure how either of them would turn out. In the end I was pretty pleased with both of them, but obviously I had to choose one. Even though the Taj Mahal is a much more recognizable landmark than the other one I built, I decided to embrace the spirit of entering something near where I live. So I will NOT be entering this model. I will hopefully post my actual entry it the next few days. In the meantime, I hope you enjoy this. It has 335 pieces, and the base is 18x18 studs. I'm not 100% satisfied with the main dome, as it's a bit small and isn't really the right shape, but I decided to keep the clean simple look of the half dome instead of trying something more complex. PDF instructions, parts list, and LDD/LDraw files for it can be found at http://www.truedimensions.com/lego J Edited April 25, 2012 by Rufus Indexed Quote
