It's an awesome MOC, too bad you couldn't enter the contest, it would be a very strong entry.

This Moc as been completed more than 2 month ago. See the post date on you tube....

But this is not so important.

I'am new on this forum and i understand the rules . It's normal.

More important is that you appreciate this MOC!

Thanks.

Ahh, well in that case it's not allowed. But it is a wonderful MOC.

That is an amazing helicopter. The rotor head assembly looks very authentic, and I really like that you were able to fit variable pitch blades on the tail rotor as well.

How is the tail rotor controlled?

Fantastic moc you've got here.:thumbup:

@ steph77: Welcome to Eurobricks! :classic: I went to your Brickshelf gallery to admire the 9 photos of the Lego Technic Bell Huey UH1 helicopter. There are a few of them where I work, and I even got to fly in one so I know that your model is very realistic. I saw that YouTube video of a real helicopter's swashplate working -- you have done a good job with it. "A swashplate is a device that translates input via the helicopter flight controls into motion of the main rotor blades. Because the main rotor blades are spinning, the swashplate is used to transmit three of the pilot's commands from the non-rotating fuselage to the rotating rotor hub and main rotor blades":

I read your initial presentation on the SeTechnic website (in French and in this English translation). I understand that you were working on this project (off and on) for 15 years? That's dedication!

To all: The bottom of Page 7 of this translated SeTechnic webpage shows Steph77's model presentation the best. I'm curious to hear what aviation buff Blakbird thinks about your excellent MOC!

Can someone help me to rename this TOPIC.

As it's no valid entry for the contest :sceptic: It needs to be renamed?

Done... and I frontpaged it. :sweet:

Everyone's a winner on EB!

In french, my native language i would say ' pour un accueil c'est un accueil!'

You can translate it, in its native sustance, by 'YES!'

Thanks a lot.

I'am there if any of you as questions or comments.

Have a nice day, all.

Awesome, thanks! I'm very impressed with your moc. You've used some really clever building techniques, and I especially like how you built the tail rotor and rudder assemblies.

Congratulations awesome MOC, I think they will see more helicopters around here soon .

If they all take so much time than i....we will wait for a very long time!

@ all.

This video shows the basic lines of the mecanics.

This was the WIP demonstrator. I think this is useful to understand the working mecanics inside.
