Venunder Posted May 10, 2012 Posted May 10, 2012 A good moc with a few excellent furniture ideas. It might look better without the random tan bricks in the blue wall ? Personally I would also try and arrange the roof tiling in a more symmetrical pattern. Quote
just2good Posted May 10, 2012 Posted May 10, 2012 Excellent MOC, 'LegoMyMamma'! I love the compact design made by using hinges. As previously started, the furniture builds are exceptional! The design for the roof is unique, too. Please make more houses! Quote
lightningtiger Posted May 11, 2012 Posted May 11, 2012 Oh, I that kitchen.....white and lime green, same colours as my own ! Wonderful house design there 'MyLegoMamma', interesting use of colours and even more wonder furniture. Excellent work and I can't wait to see what you can up with next. Quote
Darth Dino Posted May 11, 2012 Posted May 11, 2012 Hi if you had been out of minifig scale you could easily present this as architecture MOC! That is really cool design plus minifig scale. Well done! Dino Quote
Dakar A Posted May 11, 2012 Posted May 11, 2012 This is awesome, I saw it this morning on Flickr, and it is just so unique. It doesn't fall into the all-to-frequent ruts of lego building designs, and is still astheticaly pleasing. Top-notch job! Quote
Pencil_42 Posted May 12, 2012 Posted May 12, 2012 Beautiful house, and I love all the furniture! There are quite a few neat ideas to look at. Thanks for sharing! Quote
LegoMyMamma Posted May 15, 2012 Author Posted May 15, 2012 A good moc with a few excellent furniture ideas. It might look better without the random tan bricks in the blue wall ? Personally I would also try and arrange the roof tiling in a more symmetrical pattern. Roof tiling is intentionally asymmetrical Glad you like the furniture -- always a fun challenge for style & fit. Excellent MOC, 'LegoMyMamma'! I love the compact design made by using hinges. As previously started, the furniture builds are exceptional! The design for the roof is unique, too. Please make more houses! Hinges do seem to lend a bit more access than modular -- at times. Thanks for enjoying the furniture, I look forward to making more Oh, I that kitchen.....white and lime green, same colours as my own ! Lime bricks are yummy Hi if you had been out of minifig scale you could easily present this as architecture MOC! That is really cool design plus minifig scale. Well done! Dino Thank you for your compliments This is awesome, I saw it this morning on Flickr, and it is just so unique. It doesn't fall into the all-to-frequent ruts of lego building designs, and is still astheticaly pleasing. Top-notch job! Maybe since I'm just out of dark ages, I'm not in that "rut" yet Glad you enjoyed looking at it! Beautiful house, and I love all the furniture! There are quite a few neat ideas to look at. Thanks for sharing! Some of the furniture was made before the rooms -- building is kinda inspiring like that Quote
Redhead1982 Posted May 15, 2012 Posted May 15, 2012 Great house design usign hinges to make more room to 'show off' your excellent furniture and interior design. The sunken bathtub and the radiator looks so realistic. You clearly have lots of Friends sets available and you're using them even beyond their potential. Excellent work here! Quote
gotoAndLego Posted May 15, 2012 Posted May 15, 2012 I especially like the island counter in the kitchen. Quote
The Blue Brick Posted May 15, 2012 Posted May 15, 2012 The interior is lovely. All the great details and color contrast really make it stand out. Quote
