Dread Pirate Wesley Posted May 14, 2012 Posted May 14, 2012 Greetings, I saw this on flickr and thought it was awesome! I especially love the light up stern and the hatchway. Great job capturing the feel of the official set too. You say this is the second ship you made, what was the first? Dread Pirate Wesley Quote
prateek Posted May 14, 2012 Posted May 14, 2012 Wow! Honestly, I would rather spend my money on this than the official minifig scale version. It's so much better and more accurate! Quote
Yawgmoth Posted May 14, 2012 Posted May 14, 2012 This is simply awesome, it is more accurate to the movie version than the original lego set, which I like better! Love the sails, stern, everything! a ship of such splendor captured in a miniscale!. Truly a master piece!. Quote
Tiberix Posted May 14, 2012 Posted May 14, 2012 Wow that's cool! I totally didn't expect that! Tib Quote
Sebeus I Posted May 14, 2012 Posted May 14, 2012 Nice, that lightbrick really is a great add, a fantastic ship. the stern is my favourite part Quote
Horry Posted May 14, 2012 Posted May 14, 2012 Oh, this is great. The hull, the details, the presentation and your photography! And she has play functions, yay! Quote
Walter Posted May 14, 2012 Posted May 14, 2012 Lovely ship! The details are everywhere and the presentation is very professional. Expect to see it on the blog in the coming days. [bloggedcp][/bloggedcp] Quote
Skipper Posted May 14, 2012 Posted May 14, 2012 Awesome! The whole stern section is great. Just watched the movie yesterday--I like how you included the clergyman tied to the mainmast. Are the sails really just cut out of paper? You did an awesome job on them, I thought they were official TLG for a while. Quote

Yeah! actually I was also curious about the sail's material :P ... they looks pretty nice! Quote
Admiral Croissant Posted May 15, 2012 Posted May 15, 2012 Great ship! Small but very detailed and close to the original But could you please resize your pictures? Our max. allowed is 600X800 pixles. (if you don't know how to, there are tutorials in my signature) Thanks in forward! Quote
Big Cam Posted May 15, 2012 Posted May 15, 2012 Ok, I'm on record as not being a fan of CUUSOO, but this should go on it. This would be a fantastic midi scale like the SW ones. I love the look of this, it just looks great, I mean I would seriously buy this. Fantastic work, a well deserved blog. Quote
