streifen Posted May 14, 2012 Posted May 14, 2012 that Star Ferry you have made is really nice! The Clock Tower is also well-made (from the small corner photo I can see). Quote
gotoAndLego Posted May 14, 2012 Posted May 14, 2012 (edited) Both the ferry and terminal have a great shape. I'd like to see some interior photos of the parking garage area as well. Edited May 14, 2012 by gotoAndLego Quote
Ash Posted May 14, 2012 Posted May 14, 2012 That's really nice. Instantly recognisable to anyone that's been there. That said it's cool to get some background information and reference pics as well. Quote
Capn Frank Posted May 14, 2012 Posted May 14, 2012 One of you images (Ferry6.jpg) was way over the allowable limit of 800x600. I've changed this posted image to a link. Feel free to re-post the image once you've down-sized it. You have been warned in the past, but I'll assume this was an accident because all the other images we correctly sized. Quote
Lego Amaryl Posted May 14, 2012 Posted May 14, 2012 Wow, this is really a great creation, both the harbour and the ferry. You should try to get some more photos using a smaller aperture to get the whole ferry in focus. Quote
lightningtiger Posted May 14, 2012 Posted May 14, 2012 Excellent ferry and pier designing there 'PrinceWilliam'. And what's SNOT to love about the boat eh ? Brick On 'PrinceWilliam' ! Quote
Laura Beinbrech Posted May 15, 2012 Posted May 15, 2012 As someone who was in Hong Kong in 2002 and rode on this very ferry, I must congratulate you on your spot-on accuracy! The day I rode it to Kowloon was a blast, and I still have several of the things I bought in Kowloon (a couple Mandarin-style shirts and a Mahjong set). Thanks for bringing some pleasant memories to mind with this MOC. Quote
Faefrost Posted May 15, 2012 Posted May 15, 2012 Oh wow! You have really captured it there. I love it. And the subject is everyday and yet so spectacular. Well done! Quote
Solscud007 Posted May 15, 2012 Posted May 15, 2012 Wow I totally love this MOC! I used to visit my grandparents in HK back in the late 90s and I would take the ferry across to Kowloon to get to Ocean Park Mall. But now I just take the MTR to Mong Kok. Quote
mrlegoman Posted May 15, 2012 Posted May 15, 2012 Wow, thats one incedible MOC! You must have spent weeks on that! Quote
