zero1312 Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 (edited) Abyss birth was the result of domping toxic waste into the ocean near Makuhero City by some criminals. Unfortunately it was directly above an underwater robot-graveyard. The waste got absorbed by the remains of one of the many lifeless robots and fused it with a local parasitic coral. The result is an insatiable energy-vampire who attacks any mechanical lifeform and sucks out its energy with his tentacle-whips. As if weren't enough, it can also control its victims to an extend. Unforunately he got in contact with the criminal Deadeye and struck a deal with him. Now he works for Deadeye as long he can suck the energy of possible enemies. Edited May 17, 2012 by zero1312 Quote
Kadabra Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 Nice, I like the aquatic aesthetic provided by the Takadox armor and trans blue tubing. Speaking of which, nice use of the hip joints to connect the chest plate. I'd recommend adding some trans red Bohrok eyes or black Barraki teeth to the front of those hip joints to fill out the torso and provide detail, because other than the red bulbs he's pretty plain. zero1312 Posted May 18, 2012 Author Posted May 18, 2012 Thanks, but I think I'm going to keep him like this. I wanted him to be thin and lanky. And besides, have you ever seen a bulky vampire? Quote
Kadabra Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 The pieces I was taking about aren't exactly bulky! I was referring to using them for details and greebling. Quote
Logan McOwen Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 I am in love with the combination of HF torso bone and Takadox armour piece Fantastic work! Quote
Magna Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 Very good. 10 \ 10, but I have a question. Do you have Voltiks, or just 3 Surge Quote

Takua Nui Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 Nice. I like the use of trans-blue Takadox armor (especially on the torso, nice job) and blue tubing. The black contrasts with it well. It must look good in the dark. :) I also like how the head looks quite big; it looks nice with the rather bony design of the body. Quote
DraikNova Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 Nice work, great skinny look and first time I've seen Takadox peices used in a MOC. Quote

No offence but I'm not a big fan of greebling in an action figure moc. I tried those pieces on him but they kinda destroy the smoothness of him and make him look too much like a Bionicle moc. Quote
K-Nut Posted May 19, 2012 Posted May 19, 2012 I really like how you pulled off the combo of Baraki (How on earth do you spell that?) and Hero Factory Skeleton parts. I'd love to see more of these from you! Quote
