A cunning bounty hunter, Raakal has refused a total of seven-teen offers from the Dark Hunters, ten from the Brotherhood of Makuta; The Order of Mata-Nui even considered hiring him but they cancelled the offer. Raakal only works for himself and on occasion an old "friend". These friends are usually found dead a few weeks later, robbed of their valuables.

His survival pack has enough rations to last Raalak for three months, three blankets, water, and fuel. His spiked armor makes him a sinister foe to all that oppose him.

Raakal has a storehouse in an unknown region, about fourhundred miles west of Mata-Nui where he keeps his loot. None have entered this storehouse but himself. He currently is on a mission on Kataar-Nui, where he is searching for the Golden Great Masks, armor, and tools, of the long gone Toa Mata.
