Edwin Korstanje Posted June 20, 2012 Author Posted June 20, 2012 (edited) That, sir, is exquisitely executed MOC. Thanks Sariel, techniclego55 and Alasdiar Ryan for your nice reaction. Edited June 20, 2012 by VFracingteam Quote
Lego Amaryl Posted June 20, 2012 Posted June 20, 2012 Great creation! Even if it's made mainly of Technic beams, I think it should be posted on the LEGO Town forum. Quote
Milan Posted June 20, 2012 Posted June 20, 2012 Massive and beautiful. I like to see nice and realistic looking MOCs built with mainly studless. Quote
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted June 20, 2012 Posted June 20, 2012 Gorgeous masterpiece! It looks like the real boat ...fantastic! Quote
captainmib Posted June 20, 2012 Posted June 20, 2012 Awesome build. I saw this some time ago at lowlug, it's looking really good finished. Did you order all the parts just for this moc, and do you keep it? Seems to me like there's a lot of money in it... Did you use any motors for the functionality? Quote

Best captainmid, I started this moc 2 months ago and you have on Lowlug seen the build inn steps(WIP). The most parts i orderd on Bricklinck and whe have in the Netherlands the most bricklink shops in the world and get all the parts from dutch bricklink store's and get it in stock from maximal at 4 days and some parts one day later. thanks from all delivery store's. Yes it's cost a lots a money, it's about €300,00 and 200 ours off work but a lots off fun for me and my Doghter and whit olso the Smit Bronco and the Staeldiep i have great range off liftarms at any color too make inn the future all the Technic moc's i want. Greats Edwin O i forgot too say for PF, seen mine first post Edited June 20, 2012 by VFracingteam Quote
LEGO Guy Bri Posted June 20, 2012 Posted June 20, 2012 An excellent build, it's enormous!. I would love to build one, but would have to do it brick instead of technic. You did a great job combining the two. It's size and detail seem accurate. Very well done Quote
sama Posted June 20, 2012 Posted June 20, 2012 Does it float? Jusy kidding, it is a very nice and detailed boat. Quote
SDH Posted June 21, 2012 Posted June 21, 2012 (edited) Looks great, I love seeing Technic parts used in Town style Mocs. You did an excellent job. The liftarm deck and ramps flows really well, better than any brickbuilt solution I could think of. Edited June 21, 2012 by SDH Quote
streifen Posted June 21, 2012 Posted June 21, 2012 Wow! You have used an insane amount of technic parts for the hull. Will it be cheaper to just use yellow and black bricks/plates? Nonetheless the MOC is really unique! and it works! Last thing: does it float? Quote
Ash Posted June 21, 2012 Posted June 21, 2012 (edited) That's great. It looks just like it and is instantly recognisable. My wife and her family used to live in Maasluis and later her parents moved to Rozenburg. We visit Holland a couple of times a year and usually end up taking one or two trip on this ferry. Every time I ride it I always think.... someone should make a MOC of this! Edit: Just showed it to my wife and she got homesick! Edited June 21, 2012 by Ash Quote
apemax Posted June 21, 2012 Posted June 21, 2012 Such a fantastic ship. looks brilliant, Well done. Quote
Artifex Posted June 21, 2012 Posted June 21, 2012 I'm out of words. If OI had any, they'd be awesome, impressive, fantastic, amazing... And many others on those same lines. It looks so good I can feel the humidity! Quote
timslegos Posted June 22, 2012 Posted June 22, 2012 Another beautiful ship! DO you leave the bottom of the ship hollow? tim Quote
Edwin Korstanje Posted June 22, 2012 Author Posted June 22, 2012 Another beautiful ship! DO you leave the bottom of the ship hollow? tim Yes Tim, the bottom is stil open and i only build up too the waterline, otherwise it cost me 2500 liftarms more Quote
