Scorpiox Posted June 24, 2012 Posted June 24, 2012 (edited) My Villain entry for the contest: Dr. P.H. Haszard Name: Dr. Paul Harold Haszard, Ph.D. Weapons: Colt Revolver with acid exploding tipped bullets, acid vials. Alliegence: Villain/serial killer. Age: 56. Height: 5ft 7in Weight: 67kg Dr. Paul Harold Haszard, Ph.D, was a chemical scientist working in a Gotham City laboratory. He was a quiet and shy individual, who rarely left the lab, his work was his life and he would do anything to see it through. An easy target for bullying. Paul was pioneering new chemical experiments, and was on the brink of discovering a revelation that could change the face of medicine in Gotham. But, only weeks from his masterpiece's completion, Gotham pulled the plug and Paul lost the funding on his experiment. The hard-working and committed Doctor of Chemistry was forced to shut-down his life's work and go home. But Paul couldn't just leave the experiment that had consumed most of his life, and in desperation he went where he knew he could get the money he needed, the Mob. With funds secured, however blood-soaked they may be, Dr. Haszard could finally complete his dream and earn himself a place in the history books. But it was not to be. Within days the Mob were back, knocking on his door, asking for a return on their loan, calling out threats. Paul did his best to hide from the sinister men, but he couldn't stay cowering forever. He rushed to the Police station in the morning, and pleaded to the cops for protection while he worked. But the corrupt Police were in-deep with the scum of Gotham anyhow, and they turned him away, laughing him out into the street. Their cruelty would be something that they would live to regret. Early the next day, the Mafia assassins caught him unprepared during the middle of a chemical test. Unawares, the Doctor had no chance to defend himself. The Mob shot Paul Harold Hasard in the chest four times and emptied a vial of neat labatory acid onto his face, hideously deforming his features, before burning his beloved workplace to the ground. All the years of hardship and toil were lost in an instant as the Mobsters laughed into the flames. But the corpse of Paul was nowhere to be seen. Police searching an alley near the crime scene later were alarmed when a message written in large green letters was discovered on the wall. The message read a sinister verse: 'The man in black killed me, the man in blue let me die. I will kill the man in black, the man in blue I will let die'. Immediately a warning was sent out that a possible heinous crime was about to be committed. But it was too late, around midnight, five Mobsters and two Policemen were found dead in the basement of a building. They were slumped against the walls, every one of them with their hat covering their face. Upon examination, the post mortems revealed that they had all been shot under the chin and their head largely disfigured from severe acid burns... Dr. P.H. Haszard began a reign of terror over the criminal underworld, slaughtering and mutilating the corpses of nearly one hundred 'cops and robbers'. It didn't take long for the news of a horrific serial killer roaming the streets to reach one Bruce Wayne, but the fact that the bodies were always discovered hours after the terrible deeds had been done meant that little could be done to stop him. The loss of all that he held dear and nearly his life drove Doctor Paul Harold Haszard, Ph.D, to the point of insanity. He was enveloped by a pathological desire for revenge on both the ones who destroyed his life, and the ones who refused to help him. The Doctor even used his technical skill to design bullets with acid exploding tips, which he used to sickening efficiency. He wore black head-wrappings to hide his twisted face, and an old coat was worn to hide his clothes in the shadows. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I was inspired to make a horror sort of character when playing Arkham City, with all its murder and death. Dr. P.H. was quite simple to make, besides the coat which the more astute of you may notice is the same custom piece I use for Haldor's furs. I hope at least some of you will get the pun in the name. Costings time!: Torso: £0.64 (Cowboy torso, which is the closest on Bricklink to the Bandit one that I used) Head: £8.38 (Zombie head, I only paid £1.99 for the whole Zombie although) Head-wraps: £0.16 (Ninja head-wraps) Legs: £0.64 (Zombie legs, I only paid £1.99 for the whole Zombie although) Revolver: £0.04 (Classic revolver) Vial of acid: £0.80 (Mad Scientist vial with green fluid) Coat: FREE (Made out of some random fabric from my garage) Total: £10.66 (I only paid about £3.64 for mine although) Thanks for reading, C&C is appreciated.
