WesternOutlaw Posted December 9, 2006 Posted December 9, 2006 Check this MOC out that I just saw on maj.com. It's a neat little diorama. Quote
Eurobricks Emperor Bonaparte Posted December 9, 2006 Eurobricks Emperor Posted December 9, 2006 That's a nice scene. But why are they trying to get that horse on the weird wagon. It looks like it can jump of any second. Quote
El Bucanero Posted December 9, 2006 Posted December 9, 2006 I like the ship, and how the "sails" are rolled up. I also see the wall of the building is made by SNOT, I like that.. Quote
Norro Posted December 9, 2006 Posted December 9, 2006 Very interesting, any chance of a link to more pics? Thanks and God Bless, Nathan Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted December 9, 2006 Governor Posted December 9, 2006 I was about to inquire if there was more pictures but Lord jipay seems to have answered. Not exactly a big gallery though. It looks quite good however, although perhaps a little crowded. I think the brick sail actually works for me which is something I'm not used to. Quote
WesternOutlaw Posted December 11, 2006 Author Posted December 11, 2006 I really like the design of the ship. Very original. Quote
oo7 Posted December 11, 2006 Posted December 11, 2006 *y* *y* Good find, Brickster. I like all the details and the overcrowdedness. That SNOT ship is very creative and interesting but I too wonder why they are guiding a horse onto a cart. Now that I look through his gallery I notice I've seen his nice CCC4 entry before. Quote
WesternOutlaw Posted December 13, 2006 Author Posted December 13, 2006 What I like most about this scene is that dioramas like this are complete. They include multiple ships/transportation, figs, a keep/fortress/or other structure to sack, and lots of "playability". Lego really has gotten away from offering sets of this variety. I love these scenes! Quote
DARKspawn Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 This is actually another CCCIV entry by my fellow BrisLUGers The Lorax & Neonbug. They are also members of Classic Castle. There are only 3 shots in 800 x 600 as this is the image requirements for the comp. I love the Viking theme - the best thing about this one is that it ties in "normal" castle with the Viking line. Capn Frank Posted December 14, 2006 Posted December 14, 2006 nice moc brickster! i really like how they've used blue bricks sideways instead of blue plates. That's a real good idea. the viking ship is a little small, but it still looks good. Lots of detail on everything (smoke going out of the burning cabin, flowers, etc.). What is that door made out of on the cabin? Edit: I guess it wasn't Brickster that did this good moc ;-) oops my bad! err... ...nice find online Brickster! :-P Quote
Vaders_son Posted December 14, 2006 Posted December 14, 2006 I guess it wasn't Brickster that did this good moc ;-) Quote
WesternOutlaw Posted December 15, 2006 Author Posted December 15, 2006 Definately not. This is above my ability. Quote
El Bucanero Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 nice moc brickster! i really like how they've used blue bricks sideways instead of blue plates. Nice eh? :-) This technique is called SNOT btw...just for your information...This would be a nice set! Although it seems a bit strange, the row boat is wider then the longboat :-P Quote
Privateer Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 This is really nice. I think my favorite detail is the boat; it just captures the look very well. Quote
