The Black Mage, Victor Revolword, has summoned elemental monsters to invade the countryside of Historica, using the tremendous power he has acquired! From the elemental fire there as spawned one of the most terrifying monsters: The Dragon of Nadur. Fire springs up all around it; it's sole desire is destruction, and it loves nothing better than annihilating entire towns, villages, and even cities with it's blistering breath, reducing the strongest towers to blazing ruins, turning the most powerful realms to charcoaled heaps of debris, and changing the grandest of palaces into piles of ashes, littering the once beautiful landscape of Historica. This is the beast that must be fought against, a beast a hundred times bigger than the largest giant, a beast who knows no fear and fears no knowledge. Who, of all the heroes of Historica, will be found brave enough to engage in an attempt, futile though it well may be, to stop it?

A close up shot of the Dragon's head, but especially of the village he is devastating!

The Castle itself, built on some of the most insurrmountable cliffs in Historica. But even such a tremendous natural obstacle will hardly stop the ferocious elemental monster!

Hope you like it!

What a great idea- I didn't even think to do the whole challenge as a micro. I really like what you did with the dragon and the castle.

Keep it up! :classic:

It's actually not entirely my idea, I think somebody else suggested it. And I actually was planning to make some of it full scale, but micro is. . . a lot easier? I'm not good at building full-scale monsters. . .

Great to see you posting so soon after joining the guild, Kai NRG! I'm sorry i haven't had the chance to comment on this earlier, but i've been super-busy with work etc.

The choice to go all-microscale for this challenge was a courageous one, as getting microscale right is a lot harder than it first appears - so bravo to you for that! You have created several elements within your build that work very well independently - the background mountains, clifftop castle and the wonderful dragon - but all together they seem a little too spread out to work well together. I would move the waterfall and castle two studs towards the mountain range and lose the righthand side with the sand dunes entirely - this would compress your stage and give the viewer a better idea of the relationship bewteen the different parts of your moc. Anyway, this is a brave entry and a great way to kick off your contribution to our guild - best of luck with the judging of the challenge ! :classic:

Thanks! I really enjoy building micro, and although it taks a bit of patience to get it to look good, I prefer that scale to normal size  - You're right, it's a bit spread out (I hadn't noticed that earlier) but I had to cover the enitre area somehow. . .
