Well it's time I do this, I've been thinking about it for a long time and couldn't get myself to do this but I feel it is for the best. As I grow up, I realise I do not have as much time for my LEGO. I do not have much time to commit to these wonderful forums(which I love ohh so very much), too many things to do. I am very much into school buisness', as well as music and other things.

I still love pirate LEGO with all my heart and am proud to have been a part of this beautiful community for a long time. I am not getting rid of me LEGO in anyway, but I just havn't liked the fact that I am a moderator, and am doing nothing here to deserve it, and so, I am resigning. I am hopefull that someone with the same zeal I once had will be awarded this position.

Someday, when the tide allows me I will come back. But until then I thank you all for the good times, Phes you have been, and always be a great friend. You are the one who keeps LEGO pirates alive globally...Keep it up, please don't give up. Dreamweb great ships, great friend, I will miss you. Sting, same goes for you. Skaforhire, Mr. Tiber, Norro (God bless!), Dillon, all the admins. Anyone else if I forgot you, good times, good times. Thank you everyone. Thank you.

Dark ages can last up to 10 years though and we really do need a moderator that can participate in the forum ASAP because its getting to the point where I can't keep up with all the threads.

What I am saying is that things have changed, and I do not have as much time than I once had. I acted to quikly by posting I AM LEAVING. from Mod to Mod :-D , a mod doesn't really have to do all that much. ok... space may not be the busiest EB-corner around, but seriously, the Pirates section does not demand an hour on a daily basis, does it? Honestly, I don't see what the problem is. You want some more time off? go ahead, the rest of the staff will step in if it's really needed, no problem... no need to leave or step down... *sweet*

Thank you Sne, its true I think I must be getting paranoid from all this time at sea... The pirate forums do not require an hourly check up, which I seemed to have in mind. I'm sure I can do my job, and now that I think of it, I must do my job for I am so proud of these forums, and what they do to the world of LEGO pirates, I would not want to be forgoten!

Evil Willy, might I suggest posting more frequently in other forums to relax your paranoia. {It might not feasible considering your constrained situation(maybe one or two posts here and there?) and if you are then forgive me, because I haven't been keeping track of people's posts.} Soon enough all of your time spent at foreign places will rekindle the pirate fire within! Unless another forum somehow manages to assimilate you. Then I fear there is nothing more that can be done. :-P

P.S. These new piratical smiley faces are neat-o!

Captain Roger, if you had read the whole post, you would have seen that I decided not to leave after all. I guess fate brought me to do this, for me to see that I can not leave this place, and do not want to stop talking with you guys. Read back a little you'll see exactley what I said. But yah a few hours after making the initial post I got this bad feeling, I was sad, and I didn't want to leave. And so I am gonna make sure I have some time everyday to post around. I am not leaving.

Nay, this has been a good learning experience for our friend Willy. This topic will serve to remind those that think they can escape the grasp of the pirate forum that in reality it just keeps pulling you back in. :-D

Actually it would be good to have a Moderator visiting the Pirate forum basis as I can no longer keep up with every threads. There has been an incident lately that needed to be attended to sooner and if I hadn't been PMed I may not have got to it until much later. Generally the users of the pirate forum don't cause many troubles but there are a couple that need some guidance.
