Governor Mister Phes Posted December 22, 2006 Governor Posted December 22, 2006 Good find Cap'n Kirk - not sure if we've seen this before but someone will confirm soon enough! Could you post MOCs in the Pirate MOC sub-forum? Quote
oo7 Posted December 22, 2006 Posted December 22, 2006 I've seen this at least twice, one of them being the "Best Pirate Lego MOC Ship" thread. Quote
Capn Kirk 911 Posted December 22, 2006 Author Posted December 22, 2006 Mr. phes I'm not sure how to do this, could you possibly help, or tell me how to do it, I would be very thankful :-$ ! Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted December 22, 2006 Governor Posted December 22, 2006 I've seen this at least twice, one of them being the "Best Pirate Lego MOC Ship" thread. Does it have a thread of its own though? Mr. phes I'm not sure how to do this, could you possibly help, or tell me how to do it, I would be very thankful :-$ ! Do what exactly? Do you mean post in the Pirate LEGO MOCs forum? Its the first sub-forum at the top of the Main Pirate Forum. Quote
oo7 Posted December 22, 2006 Posted December 22, 2006 It problably doesn't deserve it's own thread as it is only one obscure picture. No? Quote
Capn Kirk 911 Posted December 22, 2006 Author Posted December 22, 2006 oh, no never mind I know how to post it in there, and I found this in BrickShelf! Quote
Eurobricks Emperor Bonaparte Posted December 22, 2006 Eurobricks Emperor Posted December 22, 2006 I haven't seen it before and I would remember such a beauty! Great ship and good colors! It looks Spanish to me. Anyone agrees? The brick-build sea is nice, with the dolphins and the waves. Quote
oo7 Posted December 22, 2006 Posted December 22, 2006 Ah, Good work Mr. Tiber! Now I see that this baby rests in The Vault in Legoland Billund, in which case Sne made a topic about this recently (and problably awhile ago too). Gotcha http://eurobricks.hosting.ipsyn.com/eurofo...wtopic=7278&hl= Oh, it looks like that's were you found the pictures, Mr. Tiber. Quote
Capn Kirk 911 Posted December 22, 2006 Author Posted December 22, 2006 8 agree it does look likle a spanish ship! Quote
Eurobricks Emperor Bonaparte Posted December 22, 2006 Eurobricks Emperor Posted December 22, 2006 Nice to see some more pictures Mr. Tiber. I wonder if it has an interior. Probably not since it is only used for display at the Vault. Quote
Evil Willy Posted December 22, 2006 Posted December 22, 2006 I am speechless...How do people build these... It..Is...Amazing...stupid dead sheep shoes..How? Yah I mean its just stunning! Quote
Berry Syedow Posted December 22, 2006 Posted December 22, 2006 This MOC has the fingerprints of a lego land builder all over it. Everything, right down to the waves is a piece of artwork. A point of interest is that there are two cannons located in the rear of the ship. Very few fan made MOCs do this Quote
Capn Frank Posted December 22, 2006 Posted December 22, 2006 What does the 8 mean? And why does everybody think it's a Spanish ship? It actually reminds me of a Dutch Galleon... I agree with Mr. Tiber. It looks like a very ornate Dutch Galleon. I usually think of Spanish vessels having a larger forecastle when their aftcastle is that big. I am speechless...How do people build these... It..Is...Amazing...stupid dead sheep shoes..How?Yah I mean its just stunning! One brick at a time Evil Willy. (and lots of free time and bricks :-D ) This MOC has the fingerprints of a lego land builder all over it. Everything, right down to the waves is a piece of artwork. oo7 Posted December 22, 2006 Posted December 22, 2006 What does the 8 mean? And why does everybody think it's a Spanish ship? It actually reminds me of a Dutch Galleon... I believe he meant to say "I agree..." but he hit the key above it. I don't instinctively associate this ship with any nationality, just looks pirate to me. 8-| At the last minute Willy can't decide if he's staying or leaving... Quote
Capn Kirk 911 Posted December 22, 2006 Author Posted December 22, 2006 I really like gold detailing on the stern! :-$ Quote
Darkness Falls Posted December 23, 2006 Posted December 23, 2006 That takes hella bricks, my friends. ...Hella bricks. Quote
Imperator Viktor Napoleon Posted December 23, 2006 Posted December 23, 2006 She looks English or Portuguese to me. The colours are more English navy circa 1580. Sorry, I'm a navy historian of sorts. Quote
Berry Syedow Posted December 23, 2006 Posted December 23, 2006 I didn't notice that till you told it, cause my ships do have stern guns(AKA Chasers) X-D There are three cannons at the rear of my Acheron X-D , and there are also gonna be two at the rear of my future brig... Mr. Tiber, you are one of the few. Be proud! :-P Quote
