Alasdair Ryan Posted October 11, 2012 Posted October 11, 2012 I am working on something which requires two stage legs. So Here is what I have came up with.......But can you make a better version? Quote
matias bendtsen Posted October 11, 2012 Posted October 11, 2012 why two stage legs? i cant come up with something in real life with two stage legs. i used a pneumatic cylinder and a gear rack on my mobile crane. Quote

Yes that would be too easy....lots of machiney has 2 stage legs.It would be better to copy the real one as closely as possible. Quote

chorlton Posted October 12, 2012 Posted October 12, 2012 The pics aren't massively clear. I gather that's black string used so far, similar to the 8421 crane boom? Quote

timslegos Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 Looks cool, but can it support any weight? tim Quote
Alasdair Ryan Posted November 6, 2012 Author Posted November 6, 2012 It should be able to lift 0.7kg Quote
Sam42 Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 Looking good! You've seen my efforts in the flesh, pneumatic cylinders for the vertical stage are easier to implement but the mini la option does give better adjustability.. Quote
