It seems to me that the HP Microsite at harrypotter.lego.com will be going any day now. I'm a novice, so please excuse me if this is really easy/impossible to do, but is it possible to somehow save the site so I can look at an offline copy in 5 years time where the games, downloads, animations and videos will still work? Thanks

Thats a very definitive answer deskp. What did you try? I was able to download Battle for Hogwarts flash game by just going to http://harrypotter.l...es/Default.aspx and going "File" > "Save page as". That was using firefox, it resulted in a 3.5 megabyte file so I assume it got the whole game.

If you want the entire website though, complete with working links that is more involved. You need specialised software for that. I have personally had success with Offline Explorer but there are other programs along the same lines too.

*edit* I was using firefox as my browser.

What OS are you using? Linux, and probably MacOS, should be able to use "wget" from a command line:

wget --mirror -p --convert-links -P <dst> <src>

where <dst> is the destination directory where you want it to be stored in, and <src> is the base url (http://harrypotter.lego.com).

I'd try it right now to verify it works, but I'm using a slow mobile hot-spot. I'm sure you can also download wget for windows, too.
