Graynar Posted January 7, 2007 Posted January 7, 2007 Hey guys, thought I'd try some EXO mocs for a change. ;-) The first set is: The Hail Storm FighterJet. 29.99 American or 44.99 Canadian. A fake LEGO set version of this set. The 3 figures included in this make believe set. A main view of the jet. A back view. CLICK HERE to see the pieces you can seperate from the jet to axcess the inside. The cockpit. CLICK HERE to see the interior -note the hidden missile launchers. CLICK HERE! to see how the robot is captured and placed inside the cargo hold This is Ryo's little hover recon bike. The Brickshelf Gallery The second set: The Bridge Wasp. American 7.99 or 9.99 Canadian. A fake LEGO set version of this set. The Wasp from the front. CLICK HERE for the side view. CLICK HERE for the back view. This is the Wasp with the wings down -which I like. And the drone and his mech. The Brickshelf Gallery Notes: I really like the Bridge Wasp, it could look good flying with the Iron Condor, and it has some fire power to boot. The construction lines symbolize the markings of a wasp -hence it's name the Bridge Wasp. ;-) The Hail Storm jet isn't very EXO force-y in IMO, but I thought it would be a ncie change to see a non-mech in this theme for once. *y* Well, I hope you like them. Comments are appreciated. :-) The whole EXO-FORCE Gallery. Quote
dillthepill Posted January 7, 2007 Posted January 7, 2007 Hey, I just saw these on Brickshelf!! I was about to post them but I didn't know a member created them. ;-) Anyways, those are pretty nice. The Hail Storm looks really nice, and I really like the flick fire missles and the prison thing is cool too. Ryo's hover bike is good too but maybe you could add missles or some sort of a weapon. As for the bridge wasp, I really like this. The wings looks great, the color scheme is good and the weapons suit it very well. It's good to see the Iron Drones get a flying machine. Well, these are both very good and I like the graphics too. Great job. *y* Quote
jeffrey Posted January 7, 2007 Posted January 7, 2007 Awesome~! Bridge Wasp is my favourite MOC. The wings look realiable, and yellow, dark blue and black work well`! It is better If Devastator is the pilot. I saw it on Brickshelf too, nice`! Quote
exo attack Posted January 7, 2007 Posted January 7, 2007 Wow! They rock - especially the fichter jet. Can you post instructions? Quote
Kahgarak Posted January 7, 2007 Posted January 7, 2007 Wow!The jet looks very badass with a good color scheme, the mini hoverbike is just simply awesome (i'm sure we'd all like instructions ^_^) but i think that the Bridge Wasp is just awesome. The most awesome of them all. Quote
EXO-CHAMP Posted January 7, 2007 Posted January 7, 2007 Very nice MOCs The jet: Very nice colours and coherrent design. I really like the way the cockpit shows details. It looks quite combat vorthy and fast. A few E-F stickers would improve the look. Ryo's hoover bike: Nice little vehicle. With the new robot skimmers comming up, it feels like something that E-F could have. Bridge Wasp: Nice bold colours. I like the wing design and the overall feel of the machine. Maybe you could do something to hide the blue technic pin located at the shoulder. Quote
Graynar Posted January 7, 2007 Author Posted January 7, 2007 Thanks for the comments! dillthepill wrote: I really like the flick fire missles I'm glad you noticed that they were flick fire missles. They actually fly pretty far too. *y* Ryo's hover bike is good too but maybe you could add missles or some sort of a weapon. It's more like a recon bike. Besides, Ryo's got a Katana to defend himelf. ;-) jeffrey wrote: It is better If Devastator is the pilot. I'll have to buy one -I'm waiting for the new sets to come to my local LEGO store. ;-) exo attack wrote: Can you post instructions? I might post some of the Bridge Wasp. But the Hail Storm is pretty big and complicated -I'll see what I can do though. Do you plan on making more mocs? Yep. *y* Kahgarak wrote: Wow!The jet looks very badass with a good color scheme, the mini hoverbike is just simply awesome (i'm sure we'd all like instructions ^_^) but i think that the Bridge Wasp is just awesome. The most awesome of them all. Thanks! looks like I'd better start making instructions. ;-) EXO-CHAMP wrote: A few E-F stickers would improve the look. Yeah, that's why I photoshopped some construction lines on the Hail Storm jet. *y* Maybe you could do something to hide the blue technic pin located at the shoulder. Hmm, I'm not sure what I could do, any ideas? Quote
JoeMI6 Posted January 7, 2007 Posted January 7, 2007 These are all very nice. I like the look of the Jet, it's got a nice design. Ryo' recon bike is nice, but it looks like the only attacks he could do are kamikaze style. Lego should pick up the Bridge Wasp's design. If it wasn't for the recently released Iron Condor, I'd say this'd make a valuable addition to the Robot's side. The colour scheme works really well. You've done some really cool work on the box art as well. I look forward to seeing more! Quote

And about Ryo's bike though, it's only meant for scouting but I suppose he could use more than a katana for weapons. ;-) exo attack wrote: Will the new mocs be soon? Not that soon, I'm hoping on buying some more EXO-FORCE sets first. Quote
Asuka Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 Good work! *y* For the jet: I like the way you Quote
xenologer Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 Nice job. I like the Bridge Wasp, especially the way the wings can fold up. The only thing about it is, it looks like a human vehicle to me, not a Drone vehicle. Mostly because of the windshield and smooth armour plating, the Drones seem to prefer more exposed machinery and sharp spikes... Ryo's Scooter is cool too, with the orange that matches his uniform, i bet he looks like a big cyborg beetle when he's in it. whered you get all those nice darkgreen slopes on the jet btw?? such a rare color, especially for the ones on the bottom. Quote
Graynar Posted January 10, 2007 Author Posted January 10, 2007 Hey guys, thanks for the replies! Asuka wrote: For the blue pins you could just use a trans colored cone or a technic bush 1/2 smooth. Thanks for the ideas! You're right, the cone and bush would work pretty good. But the cone doesn't fit on the mech's arms though. :-/ xenologer wrote: The only thing about it is, it looks like a human vehicle to me, not a Drone vehicle. You're right, and I think a few viking spikes would look good on the wings and shoulders. *y* whered you get all those nice darkgreen slopes on the jet btw?? such a rare color, especially for the ones on the bottom Most of the dark green pieces were from Creator set 4894 - Mythical creatures. I have instructions for the Bridge Wasp in my Brick Shelf folder. Please note this is my first time making instructions so they may be a bit -noobish. :-P Click here Quote
Zaktan of the Shadows Posted January 11, 2007 Posted January 11, 2007 Nice MoCs. If they actually came out. I would buy them. -ZotS Quote
xenologer Posted January 12, 2007 Posted January 12, 2007 Well, I already told you that I liked the mech and scooter.. I can make some change suggestions for the jet though... The engines are way out on the wingtips; with such thin wings it looks kind of odd to have them there. I'd try and relocate the engines to be a part of the body. Or if you really like the style of wingtip engines, id modify them to be lower so they transition into the wing surface better, or hang below, but not up on top where they stick out so much... The 'tail' is really high up, and pretty much in the middle of the jet's body. This makes it look almost like a carrying handle than a tail... of course there are plenty of jets with giant tails, but at the least I'd try and move it to be farther back on the body. This would also help to give the rearmost section of the body more interesting shape. That being said, it doesnt look bad, its just that the general spread-out nature makes it feel more like an ultra-endurance glider than a jet. A jet should have a more compacted and armoured feel. And i think with some heavy modifications to suit your standards, this jet could turn out pretty sweet! I may rebuild these areas and post pics of what the jet looks like. Hail Storm Jet Fighter 2. ;-) Quote
Capn Kirk 911 Posted January 13, 2007 Posted January 13, 2007 I love the jet! 8-o And I like the folding down wing idea on the wasp! ;-) Quote

EXO-CHAMP Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 Even better. Now that would be a fitting 07 summer set... Good work Quote
exo attack Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 It looks much better with the engines nearer the cockpit. Anyways, great MOC all the way! Quote
Graynar Posted January 21, 2007 Author Posted January 21, 2007 Thanks for the comments guys! I have finished building my next Moc, and all I need to do now is take pictures. It's a Iron drone base verse an orange mech piloted by the black haired generic soldier dude. Ha-ya-to also appears in this set, with one of those blaster rifles from the Sentai fortress set. I don't own the fortress, so I kind of guessed at the gun's design, but it looks pretty sweet IMO. Quote
dillthepill Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 Sounds pretty cool. I can't wait to see it. *y* Quote
Capn Kirk 911 Posted January 27, 2007 Posted January 27, 2007 Ryo little speeder bike is so cool :-$ ! Quote
