Sicil Posted November 24, 2012 Posted November 24, 2012 (edited) Hello. I want to present you a model to Technic Rally.Nothing in common between this model and the "Storaq" no, except for appearance. I used all the electrics of crawler, which resulted in a high speed on obstacles. Compared with the previous model, "Storaq" I modified the rear part of body. There are front and rear suspension in this model. Datasheet: - 2 L-motor to the drive with gear 3:5 - Servo motor on the steering - IR receiver a new type, BB That's all. Thank you for your attention. Your Sicil. Sorry for my bad english. Edited November 24, 2012 by Sicil Quote
skppo Posted November 24, 2012 Posted November 24, 2012 (edited) Seems sturdy and well built. Nice job! Wish I had a servo. Edited November 24, 2012 by skppo Quote
DLuders Posted November 24, 2012 Posted November 24, 2012 I like the proportions of this car. It seems that it is slightly smaller than your Lego "Rally Car Blacked" model. It may be possible to relocate the Power Functions v2 Receiver in the front passenger seat area (like you did with the "Rally Car Blacked"), so that it does not stick out of the back so much. Quote
Alasdair Ryan Posted November 24, 2012 Posted November 24, 2012 Nice car, although I am not a fan of the front suspension.Did you think about using steering arms to create wishbone suspension? Quote
lockdownTF Posted November 24, 2012 Posted November 24, 2012 nice moc looks good. is there some special trick to get infrared controllers to work out doors? every time I try it either doesn't work unless your only a foot or two way or the motor keeps running a few seconds after I've released the controller. DLuders Posted November 24, 2012 Posted November 24, 2012 @ lockdownTF: Even though the Power Functions Infrared Controller has a published range of 10 meters (33 feet), it would be best to operate your car outdoors on a cloudy day or in the shade (so that the sun's infrared rays don't overpower the PF signals). Many Trial Truck events are held in the shade of a forest, and not out in the open. Quote
Sicil Posted November 24, 2012 Author Posted November 24, 2012 Thanks for your's attention. If place the receiver in the cabin signal will be worse to go and have to walk to the side of a car that's quite uncomfortable. Quote
