Track Compatibility

im thinking of buying my first PF train and i was wondering if the tracks from this kind are compatible with the 9v system.

if anybody knows please share.

The current PF system of tracks are certainly compatible with the 9v system, in terms of size and physical joining.

Obviously you can't run your 9v trains on the new tracks though, unless you also convert them to PF.
