Captain BeerBeard Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 (edited) Selling lemons isn't very profitable. Mary knows this. She specializes in potions. Magic potions to be more exact. The potions she sells are not exactly legal, either. Mary is waiting for her best customer, Zakon GoldBlade. You can see some of Mary's magic potion's. The gold capped potion is for her best customer. It's Four times the regular strength. It only takes one tear drop to be affected.(regular strength) Back View With this build, I claim the the "Lord High Chief of Agriculture" title. Edited January 7, 2013 by Captain BeerBeard Quote
Legonardo Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 very cool! also creative way to get the agriculture title, I may try that. interesting potions you have there... Quote
MikeyB Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 Nice build as usual Capt. always love your use of musrooms! Also very nice lantern outside the front door Quote
Kai NRG Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 Creative way to do the "Lord High Chef of Agriculture" build! Pity us Kaliphlin don't qualify for the fancy Avalonian titles... Anyway, nice job on the plants in particular, and the interior of the house is excellent... fireplace in particular.. Great touch with the cat and the sock too! Good work! Quote
Captain BeerBeard Posted January 7, 2013 Author Posted January 7, 2013 Thanks! Glad you guys like it. @MikeyB I used your pipe design. Did you notice? Quote
MikeyB Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 actually I missed it the first time around. must have been the sock under the bed getting all my attention! Quote
ZCerberus Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 When I am at a regular computer, the title is yours! As soon as I saw mushroom in the title I knew it would be you! I like the colors, your landscaping and the double round windows. The dark brown half-timber pieces seem a bit out of place though. Good to see you have returned! Quote
Kayne Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 Looks like those darn neighbor kids have been throwing their empty bottles in Mary's yard again as they ride by in their wagons. Pesky teenage medieval Avalonians Quote
Maxim I Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 If I saw only the pictures, I would be able to tell directly that it is coming from you as it is very typically building for you!! Very well done! Also great tree! And the squirrel on top of the roof is brilliant Quote
Captain BeerBeard Posted January 8, 2013 Author Posted January 8, 2013 Thanks again! @ZC I've been running low on regular brown 1x4 tiles for a while. I seem to have so many more dark brown. @Kayne Haha! You noticed! @DMax I'm seriously in love with that squirrel! Quote
soccerkid6 Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 Superb landscaping, especially the tree Excellent work on the house too, I always enjoy seeing a good interior Quote
ZCerberus Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 @ZC I've been running low on regular brown 1x4 tiles for a while. I seem to have so many more dark brown. They seem like they are a touch too high as well. Are they connected to the wall at the bottom with a Travis brick? May be they would line up better if you used a headlight brick on its side with a 1 x 1 plate on top of it. That squirrel is cute for sure. You do seem to mix happy and cheerful with blood and guts quite well. I would say your style is slightly whimsical. which is fun. Okay, at my "regular" computer. Title added as I type. Quote
Captain BeerBeard Posted January 8, 2013 Author Posted January 8, 2013 @ZC I didn't even notice my my tiles were too high. I can move them down without changing anything. If you notice on the front of the house, they're in the right spot. Thanks for pointing that out. Whimsical is what I go for. Nice that someone finally noticed. Quote
gedren_y Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 (edited) Yes, whimical psycosis is the order of the day. Including a dirty sock under the bed. Is she breeding dust bunnies for sneezing powder? Oh, and DZ's ZCerberus' (apologies) fix would affect the placement of the bed, sock and bedside table. Edited January 8, 2013 by gedren_y Quote
Kai NRG Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 ...Oh, and DZ's fix would affect the placement of the bed, sock and bedside table. DZ? But I think you're thinking of the wrong tiles anyway; (or I am) wasn't Z reffering to the exterior of the house? Quote
gedren_y Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 DZ? But I think you're thinking of the wrong tiles anyway; (or I am) wasn't Z reffering to the exterior of the house? Right about the name. Fixed. The wall with the two windows is where the tiles are. Against that wall is the bed. A headlight brick on its side would jut into the interior. Quote
Wedge09 Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 Great work Captain  I love the aspect of this MOC Quote
ZCerberus Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 The wall with the two windows is where the tiles are. Against that wall is the bed. A headlight brick on its side would jut into the interior. It would jut into the interior for sure. It is true that such techniques do mess up the interior. @Mr. Mushroom Mage- yes, they are lower on the front side. I heard a rumor we are going to see another build from you soon. Quote

Captain BeerBeard Posted January 8, 2013 Author Posted January 8, 2013 @ZC&LD Give me a few minutes. Quote
Kai NRG Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 one o fteh reasons you never see interiors from me... awaiting your next creation, is it the running assassin one? Yeah, interiors can be quite a challenge. Means you have to worry about both sides... gedren, yeah, I see what you mean now. Quote
Niku Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 I always have liked the colorful of your Mocs. And this is a nice depicting farm. Good job captain. Quote
de Gothia Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 Mmm that red roof fits perfect! I have a ton of those but I always feel that they are to bright but you have proved me wrong as the result is great! Nice to see some interior as well! Quote
Rogue Angel Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 Excellent build! I love nice full tree, and the foliage is great, as usual. The interior is excellent, and the story is amazing as well. I too love the squirrell Quote
