Savage Oppress Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 According to Brickipedia, there's also going to be a Lego Star Wars IV video game that will be released in 2013. LEGO City: Undercover March 2013 LEGO Star Wars IV Summer 2013 LEGO Legends of Chima: Laval’s Journey Fall 2013 Quote
CF Mitch Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 Ooh, nice! Let's hope it's a continuation of the Clone Wars and that is has lots of Phase II (specialized) clone troopers and clone commanders Thanks for sharing! Regards, Mitch Quote
Marvelfan120 Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 man, with this plus the new marvel game, I am a happy camper Quote
Oky Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 Where does it say that it will come out in summer? I find that unlikely since I don't think they would announce the Marvel game which comes out in fall and not announce this if it comes out in summer. Would be nice if it's true though. But yeah, whenever this comes out, it will probably be a continuation of the CW. Quote
Fives Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 I would really love to see them redo The Complete Saga, but update all the character designs and add the dialogue. Plus, the hub could be across the Galaxy, so you travel by hyperspace to different planets, which are big hub worlds. Quote
PenPlays Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 Might I remind you all that this is coming from a wiki. An user based encyclopedia. Quote

deskp Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 In the first behidn the scenes video for the marvel elgo game, you see they play around in a star wars universe (something from episode 1) and it looks much better graphically than the old star wars games. It could just be them using the assets in their updated engine simply to show it started with star wars, or there might be a remake/new game of the first 6 movies in the very updated quality engine(since first 2 star wars games) Quote
Navy Trooper Fenson Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 In the first behidn the scenes video for the marvel elgo game, you see they play around in a star wars universe (something from episode 1) and it looks much better graphically than the old star wars games. It could just be them using the assets in their updated engine simply to show it started with star wars, or there might be a remake/new game of the first 6 movies in the very updated quality engine(since first 2 star wars games) The video he talks about is this: That scene looked exactly the same. Maybe a bit shinier but that was probably because they filmed it from the monitor. I am a bit more excited for the Marvel Game than I was for the DC game. It seems like in LEGO Marvel they know that every character has a fan base. In DC they only faff about Batman and maybe Superman. I hope they do it right with the Marvel game, giving it more of that Avengers/Justice League cartoon feeling where in every level you get another combination of some of the superheroes. Not like Batman 2 where Superman was in roughly 5 levels, in 2 depowered and other heroes only came during the last two levels. Oh, and I hope Cap can walk around with his shield in his hand, too, and not always like a turtle with it on the back. That always bugged me about that 2011 movie tie-in game that was otherwise a good rendition of Caps awesomeness. There is really no excuse not to be able to do this with Cap in the LEGO games, it worked for lightsabers since LSW1. And probably the most important part of it all: When you release your game with the torso of a firefighter PLEASE include a helmet, too! That still bugs me about LEGO Batman 2, hope they can rectify it at least here. About LSW4: i think they wanted to release it in summer but they got problems with the schedule. A Marvel game was already planned for 2012 to tie in with Avengers but it got scrapped because they can´t make more than two games a year. About LSW remake: We don´t need that. Complete Saga was already more or less unnecessary. I don´t see what could be updated except maybe saber throws and opening doors with sabers but even then it would only be a very small part that is new and doesn´t warrant a full remake. People like to talk about graphics as if they were the most important thing, but this are LEGO games. I couldn´t care less if the rectangular shapes are shinier or not. LSW4 could be much more interesting with levels based on the Death Watch arcs, Umbara and Kamino. I just hope they finally include the Death Star trooper helmet again. LSW 1, 2 and complete are the only games where I am able to make my sig-fig. Quote
GandalfofHoth Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 I hope that this has open world, I love open world on Lego Batman 2 and the first thing I thought while playing in open world was that, if used right, could be amazing. It most likely will, but you never know, I can only hope. Quote
Cammo Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 just imagine: Flying around with Iron Man (Lego Batman 2: Superman/Green Lantern style) and hear the tune 'Shoot To Thrill' from AC/DC Quote
