madLEGOman Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 Duh-Nuh01 by madLEGOman, on Flickr Thought it would be cool to build a shark mech outfitted basically like a shark would think is human camoflauge... Namely a big Yellow Jacques Cousteau looking submarine, with toes to walk on land. Built for Simon/EuroBricks Forbidden Animal Planet Contest, Although I was tempted just to save it for Shark Week =), I figured Simon better get the credit, since it was inspired by his contest. Anyway, here it is! JAWS 34! The Revenge of the Revenge of the thing that guy did that time. Duh-Nuh02 by madLEGOman, on Flickr Duh-Nuh03 by madLEGOman, on Flickr Quote
Ceroknight Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 That is really awesome! I like it a lot Quote
DraikNova Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 Awesome! I like how you integrated the shark into the mech. Quote
Kai NRG Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 Great job! This is really fantastic, though a shot of it laying down (like a sub, if it's built to do that) would be really neat. Very cool trident/spear there too (though I bet it's a bit delicate ), and getting the shark to stick his tail out was brilliant! Quote
Bob De Quatre Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 Great MOC! I really like the reference to the Cousteau subs Quote
-Carson Haupt- Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 I like how you made it look like it is filled with water with those Technic parts! Quote
soccerkid6 Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 Wow! Tremendous work, love the yellow sub design (would love to see a pic of it lying down) and the visors look great Quote
Si-MOCs Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 Great concept and execution. I may be biased, but I liked this a lot Quote
Masked Builder Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 Wow, this is excellent! The shapes and intigration of the shark is perfect. Quote
madLEGOman Posted January 10, 2013 Author Posted January 10, 2013 Thanks all, Glad you all seem to like this one as much as i do. very new to euro bricks. Found out about the contest through sci mocs flikr stream. Looks like a few others may have had similar ideas of building shark mechs after reading simon's forum thread. I do appologize, but i assure you, i didnt try to steal anybody's design, great minds just think alike Quote
genecyst Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 I like this one too, it's very funny the idea of feeding the shark with a fisherman. Quote
Vindicare Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 That is a killer mech! That thing is bulky. That trident is awesome. I love that mech! Quote

TimH Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 Pure awesomeness! :wub_drool: I like the fact that the sharks tail is sticking out. Quote
