legolegolegolego Posted January 12, 2013 Posted January 12, 2013 Here is my entry for the Expand the Winter Village contest. It was a lot of fun to make. Thank you for the contest. Quote
vynsane Posted January 12, 2013 Posted January 12, 2013 This is chock-full of inventive parts usage and techniques. I LOVE that moose! Where is your Flickr account link? I want to see more! Please do join the LEGO Winter Village group (I just created last week) and add them! Quote
daisy Posted January 12, 2013 Posted January 12, 2013 Great moose, love the coziness of the home Quote
Andy D Posted January 12, 2013 Posted January 12, 2013 There is lot to like about this entry. As mentioned the innovative use of parts and the moose. I also like the tree and Santa's sleigh. Do those rockets provide the required 8 (or 9 including Rudolph) reindeer power? Good luck in the contest! Andy D Quote
scottwb2010 Posted January 12, 2013 Posted January 12, 2013 What a great entry! I like the way youve created the log cabin. That moose is classic. Well done Quote
Kristel Posted January 12, 2013 Posted January 12, 2013 Great entry, with a lot of clever parts usage! I love the moose, and also how you have done the pot belly stove and chairs. Well done! Quote
Redhead1982 Posted January 12, 2013 Posted January 12, 2013 That's a great entry. However, the clever use of unusual pieces really stands out. The moose is fantastic, and the tree as well. Quote
Kai NRG Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 Really nice job, especially with the small pond! As others have mentioned, the stove is great too and the log house look is excellent! Quote
Vindicare Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 Fantastic! Nice piece usage all around! A little cramped inside. Great job with the log cabin. That tree looks like frosting squirted out of a piping bag. Quote
Faefrost Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 Wow! There are so many neat little builds and unbelievably cool and oddball parts usage there. I love it. Too many to list. The Moose! The Bagpipers kilt as a tablecloth. R2D2 as a potbellied stove! Just too cool. Quote
LegoSjaak Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 Really nice how u used the parts... it is a rather new style, the way you built it....original at least!!! Hope to see more from you in the future! LegoSjaak Quote
lightningtiger Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 Fantastic 'Legolegolegolego', the moose is AWESOME, clever lamp shade up stairs and cool realistic stove down stairs ! Good luck and Brick On in the snow ! Quote
soccerkid6 Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 Love the log house design and your interior is great Neat moose design too and the snowmobile and ice fishing vig look very nice Quote
L@go Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 The others have said it already - the parts usage in this is brilliant! Not just one or two unusual building techniques, but a whole bunch. Very well done - and it looks so good together. The moose is an obvious favourite, I grew up with those beasts walking around the woods just outside the house; but the furniture is what really stands out for me. Great job. Quote
Venunder Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 Excellent snot work and inventive use of unuaual peices. :) I think the tree is good, but looks a little bit too alien for the Winter Village. Quote
Priovit70 Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 Great entry! What not to like of this moc? As Venunder just said, great snot work... and I really love the roof design! Good luck for the contest! Quote
soundwave_sw Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 very creative and neat building techniques! great job! Quote
RunnersDad Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 I really like your piece use in this build. The beauty of Lego is that you can be unorthodox and still get a great result. I like the tree, however as somebody else stated I don't think that it fits in well with the winter village. Looks a bit too foreign. Quote
snaillad Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 Great job. I echo what the others have said. I especially like the lamp and wood burner. Quote
xinbei Posted December 23, 2013 Posted December 23, 2013 This is a very cute design! I like the interior decorations very much, especially the lamp stand and the tiny Christmas tree. Quote
Paperballpark Posted December 23, 2013 Posted December 23, 2013 Is it just me that was thinking this was an entry for this year's contest, and as such was completely ineligible? Absolutely excellent MOC, but a bit confusing for @xinbei to resurrect the thread in the middle of this year's contest! Quote
CM4Sci Posted December 23, 2013 Posted December 23, 2013 Is it just me that was thinking this was an entry for this year's contest, and as such was completely ineligible? Absolutely excellent MOC, but a bit confusing for @xinbei to resurrect the thread in the middle of this year's contest! Same here. Though I have seen a couple ineligible entries for this years as well... -Sci Quote
Hobbythom Posted December 24, 2013 Posted December 24, 2013 Lovely build. I am particuarly fond of the stove! Quote
timmyc1983 Posted December 24, 2013 Posted December 24, 2013 Is it just me that was thinking this was an entry for this year's contest, and as such was completely ineligible? Absolutely excellent MOC, but a bit confusing for @xinbei to resurrect the thread in the middle of this year's contest! I was reading through the comments and wondering why no one was pointing out the fact that the entry would be ineligible... So, indeed, you are not the only one!! Great MOC though, the interior detailing is very well done! Quote
LEGO Family Posted December 24, 2013 Posted December 24, 2013 Lovely build. I could repeat what have already been said above. Well done. :) Quote
