Hello!

Here is my entry to the Micro Scale Sci-Fi Contest. It is an interpretation in LEGO of the famous book by John Windham, "The Day Of The Triffids". Massive man eating plants break out of their greenhouses and start rampaging through the city, the micro city that is!

Here they are breaking out.

HEY!

Nothing wrong with visors!

It's a very Sci-Fiy piece!

Really funny build, but it's a bit hard to see some of the details. :look:

ISC had some good ideas though.

Nice little street scene, I like how you've used the grill & tooth pieces. Are these the genetically modified ones or the ones from a meteor shower that can be killed with salt water? :sceptic::laugh:

You've used a part I'm unfamiliar with for the big ones, my only guess is a lizard man costume tail?

Argh I wish I hadn't dismantled it now, I probably could have gotten some better photos. :hmpf_bad:

The genetically modified ones of course! I hadn't heard of the other sort? I only read the book!

Yes it is the Lizard man tail, that was the piece that inspired this build!
