MR. DAVE CHICKEN OF THE TEXTURED SOYLENT PROTEIN FOOD GROUP INC.

T.S.P. Food Group Inc. - Proud providers of supplies to the Galaxy Squad, Galactic Patrol and Space Police forces.

Mr. Dave Chicken recently travelled to Galaxy Squad base ‘Sigma-19710’ to check out how those guys are enjoying T.S.P. food packs. Here we see Corporal Lou Simons about to tuck into yummy ‘T.S.P. JEL-OMG!’

“It’s nutritious and delicious!” Lou said, with a smile. “It’s just like Mom’s home cooking.”

T.S.P. Food Group inc. secured sole provider rights to all deep space missions thanks to a pan global deal with all space faring nations. The contract is good for the next hundred years, so those guys out there protecting the galaxy can be sure of a hearty meal when they need it most. Safe in the knowledge that T.S.P. Food packs will give them all the muscle they need to fight the good fight.

Man and Supper man by George Bantam Shaw. Dinner in four courses.

Mr. Dave Chicken got very drunk and revealed the secret ingredient to a CMF spaceman with an attitude problem. His fate is too grisly to post here but it's in my Flickr stream. :sweet:

The evilness of chickens is greatly underestimated. I think Eurobricks needs an evil chicken emoticon.

Glad you guys like the entry. I tried to keep it to a tight build though it would have been a bit bigger if I had more of the red stanchions and tiles with clips. I'm going to put this on a shelf and one day I'll expand it and make a more expansive Space HQ.

That is too true. Fact: chickens will eat their own dead if they see the blood. That is why someone invented red colored glasses for chickens. I believe that is the origin of the phrase, "Seeing the world through rose colored glasses."

Also the term 'pecking order' comes from chickens. The weakest one is bullied and has it's feathers plucked out and pretty much starves to death. Some call it natural selection, I call it evil. Also Chickens are behind some of the biggest moments in history. It was a chicken who assassinated Julius Caesar, a chicken who shot JFK. Also, a chicken who created Apple maps. Which is obviously the greater evil.

There's something not right with the build. It's only supposed to be a starbase mess hall but those x beam panels at the back with red behind them together with the shape of the ceiling opening make it look like a barn. I think I'll rework it on a 16x32 baseplate. Add some greebly bits and generally open it out so you can see what's going on. It'll still be the same entry, but different.

I made some changes. this is Dave Chicken in his chicken walker. Peck controlled. I've uploaded almost all my shots to the existing gallery And will have shots of the entire build up before the deadline. The camera battery died before I could take those. So for now just enjoy this...

Right then, I managed to get just one vote of one point in the contest voting period, (thank you theDeanoRama), and obviously didn't win anything. So, I'm curious about why people didn't vote.

Is it that people didn't get the reference to the Soylent Green book or movie?

The build was crappy?

There was too much going on in the build?

No-one bothered to check out the flickr gallery?

I'm just absolutely awful and grind everyone's gears and no-one voted on principle?

People felt I'd cheated in some way?

People don't like red and white in large quantities?

People only vote for their friends?

I welcome feedback so that I can improve presentation generally and know what not to do in future contests. Be as truthful as you like, I'll accept criticism as well as constructive critique. I'd rather hear the truth than face indifference.
