Maxim I Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 (edited) Prelude 2 of Chapter III : the Battle of Mpya Stedor Prelude 1: Evacuation of Mpya Stedor: Link "Tooooooooooooooooot" Everyone stopped doing their bussiness and looked around. How would the next toot sound? Hopefully not as long as the first one... Sir Tomvaximus walked to the balcony of the Palace, looking to the harbour, more specific to the bay before the harbour. As it was a "toot" and not a "boing", it meant that the watchtower has spotted unknown vessels. And indeed, 3 mighty war-galleys were coming closer and closer. Sir Tomvaximus tried to remember from where he recognised them. Meanwhile, the city was still so quiet, that you could hear the meermaids gossiping in their clan, a few miles further. And then suddenly: "Toot toot" The people on the streets started cheering! Reinforcements to help us!!!! Sir Tomvaximus hurried to the harbour, jumped in a row boat (he was lucky that the rowmaster could grab him, otherwise he would have fallen in the water) and headed to the greatest of the 3 vessels. When he saw the heraldry on the sails, he remembered that the ships came from Eastgate. Eastgate!!! The other side of Kaliphlin!!! *Captain Robero* "Greetings, you must be Sir Tomvaximus? I am sent by Petera Maclean, commander of Eastgate and the Gear Co. I am here to help you in your upcomming battle!!" *Sir Tomvaximus* "Oh blessed Lord! You come just in time! How many soldiers have you brought?" *Captain Robero* "Well, 70, but because they are real sailors, they are archers and not really soldiers!" *Sir Tomvaximus* "Is no problem! Feel free to use our armour and the bows and arrows from our Elite Archers! We will give them a crossbow, as they are also trained for that!" And so, 70 brave sailors from the Gear Co landed in Mpya Stedor and went straight to the Gatehouse for changing clothes: (new picture: ) http://www.flickr.co...s/76053512@N04/ C&C welcome!!!! SkaForHire Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 I love that you turned our conversation about representation into a whole MOC, that is awesome! I like it, can't wait to see what happens. Oh yeah, don't be afraid to kill anyone you want in the battle. More epic, the better. Quote
Maxim I Posted January 18, 2013 Author Posted January 18, 2013 Thanks for the replies! another picture (I will put him also in the first post) (my flickr photostream : http://www.flickr.com/photos/76053512@N04/ ) Quote
gedren_y Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 (edited) Wonderful way to represent someone else's force joining your own. Especially if your limited on the types of torsos you own. The Nestlands Clans will be sending some warriors soon. Edited January 18, 2013 by gedren_y Quote
Rogue Angel Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 Innovative use of legs and torsos. I hadn't really ever considered doing this before. Quote
Captain BeerBeard Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 Nice! I really like the wall design. I'm a big fan of figs getting naked. Don't ask! Keep'em coming. Quote
de Gothia Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 That´s a great idea! The minifigs posings are very nice! Well done! Quote
Ecclesiastes Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 Indeed a great idea, one of those that make me think: wish I thought of that! I'm wondering if they can fight though, because they to look a bit chubby Quote
Maxim I Posted January 22, 2013 Author Posted January 22, 2013 @CBB, dG & Ecc: Thanks It was a coincidence that I thought about doing something like this All thanks to Ska for letting me choose the look of his reinforcements @Ecc: They are archers, they don't really have to fight (thanks God) @CBB: Allright, it is really hard to don't ask a question about that....
