Mike S Posted January 23, 2013 Posted January 23, 2013 (edited) Upon hearing of the road blockade by Zakon GoldBlade, Yesil the Grelf requested the legendary Kaliphlin negotiator Puss "No" Boots to try and defuse the situation. So once again Puss "No" Boots puts on his hat and cape, leaving his beach house to pay Zakon Goldblade a visit and attempt to convince him to remove the blockade. On the way he plans to purchase a bottle of fresh Avalonian milk which perhaps will put Zakon in amiable spirits- if not Puss "No" Boots will at least be. Captain BeerBeard Posted January 23, 2013 Posted January 23, 2013 WOW! Did your spys tell you Zakon is a cat hoarder? You have to let me do a follow up moc to this. Very funny! Quote
soccerkid6 Posted January 23, 2013 Posted January 23, 2013 I was thinking wow this is a really neat MOC than I saw the fig Bonus points for originality The trees are superb, especially the one on the left Great work on the stairs and building as well Quote
Mike S Posted January 23, 2013 Author Posted January 23, 2013 WOW! Did your spys tell you Zakon is a cat hoarder? Very funny! Thanks! Yesil the Grelf does not use spies but is a master logician. Assassins favor few animals but only a cat was suitable for this mission. For example, assassins do like snakes but if Yesil sent a snake man for this mission, I'm sure Zakon would have misunderstood the intent. You have to let me do a follow up moc to this. I would be delighted! Hahahahahaha ! This is awesome!!! Thanks! I was thinking wow this is a really neat MOC than I saw the fig Bonus points for originality The trees are superb, especially the one on the left Great work on the stairs and building as well Thanks! I've been trying to improve my foilage designs. Not sure if I'm done tweaking but I am pleased with how the trees look for now. Quote
Brickington Posted January 23, 2013 Posted January 23, 2013 Very funny! Puss "No" Boots! Where did you get the minifig for him? Quote
SkaForHire Posted January 23, 2013 Posted January 23, 2013 Ha Ha!!! Very interesting, and a nice little seaside home! I really need to get more brick pattern bricks, I like that you made the foundation with them. Quote
gedren_y Posted January 23, 2013 Posted January 23, 2013 A perfectly Kaliphlin beach house. Very funny! Puss "No" Boots! Where did you get the minifig for him? It's from Legends of Chima. Was the tree trunk made with the axle hole version of the barrel half with a 3mm hose? Also, nice part use with the pith helmet. Quote
mrcp6d Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 This cracked me up. Interesting idea with the barrels too. Quote
Kayne Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 Absolutely puurrrrfect! Sorry, bad pun, but I had to since no one else did! Quote
NiceMarmot Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 Hah! That's great! Really good landscaping/sandscaping by the way, and the stairs are nicely done too. So are the trees and the house for that matter. Looking forward to the continuation of this story. Sounds like the milk dish is in your court, CBB! Quote

Mike S Posted January 24, 2013 Author Posted January 24, 2013 Very funny! Puss "No" Boots! Where did you get the minifig for him? Thanks! As gedren_y replied the minifig is Leonidas from Legends of Chima. Ha Ha!!! Very interesting, and a nice little seaside home! I really need to get more brick pattern bricks, I like that you made the foundation with them. Thanks! I've been trying to find a use for those bricks but I don't have enough of them to do what I usually try to do. A perfectly Kaliphlin beach house. Was the tree trunk made with the axle hole version of the barrel half with a 3mm hose? Also, nice part use with the pith helmet. Thanks! Yes the tree is made of the axle hole version of the barrel with hose. I'm still LOLling!!! Awesome! Thanks! Glad it gave you a laugh! This cracked me up. Interesting idea with the barrels too. Thanks! I usually to try and put some kind of humor in all my MOCs. Sometimes I succeed and sometimes I don't. Glad it gave you a laugh! Absolutely puurrrrfect! Sorry, bad pun, but I had to since no one else did! Actually I liked that pun... thanks! Hah! That's great! Really good landscaping/sandscaping by the way, and the stairs are nicely done too. So are the trees and the house for that matter. Looking forward to the continuation of this story. Sounds like the milk dish is in your court, CBB! Thanks! As usual I have a few modifications planned one being making the stairs look a bit less stacked and the other with changing the 8x1 plates one either side of the windows to another color for more accent. Some really cool original ideas here! Nice job. Thanks! Briljant! Indeed also great use of the baskets! Thanks! Quote

Rogue Angel Posted January 25, 2013 Posted January 25, 2013 Great story, love the Fat tree! The Chima figures have a ton of potential. I'm already using them in one of my builds I'm finishing. Quote
Niku Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 Great counter story and the Chima fig really suits Kaliphlin. Quote
thecolossus Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 I hated those Chima figures till I saw this, a few parts have gone a long way to improving him! Great moc, very funny! :) Quote
Mike S Posted January 26, 2013 Author Posted January 26, 2013 Great building, I really start to like the brick bricks. The base is also totally cool! Thanks! I have always liked how the brick bricks look, I just have a hard time finding realistic applications for them sometimes... Great story, love the Fat tree! The Chima figures have a ton of potential. I'm already using them in one of my builds I'm finishing. Thanks! I was looking forward to the Chima figs but wasn't really impressed with the lion faction. Now that I have them, they are one of my favourites, just without the masks though. Great counter story and the Chima fig really suits Kaliphlin. Thanks! I think the Lion faction really suits Kaliphlin as well... I hated those Chima figures till I saw this, a few parts have gone a long way to improving him! Great moc, very funny! :) Thanks! I like the Chima figs, just not a fan of the masks. Too big imo. Quote
