Big Cam, high off of his Day Four railroading of Alopex confronts Shadows. "J'accuse, Shadows, J'ACCUSE!"

Shadows chuckles.

"Oh, why do you laugh? We have you surrounded."

Shadows looks him in the eye and clearly explains, "You were all we needed to unite. You were such a townie, your claim cleared me to the scum!"

Five figures walk up to the remaining townies.

def and his menagerie watch on dispassionately as the newly empowered scum unite and behead their compatriots.

"Bravo!" def says, slowly clapping. "You weren't as bold as I'd hoped, but you were effective, to be sure."

As his mates leave on ahead of him, def bids farewell to the remaining players of his 'game.'

"Good game!"

Iamded cries at him, "Hey, where's that reward you promised?" JimB supports him, "Yeah, what do we get?"

def squints a little. "Why, I didn't promise you anything. It was simply a game. You won. Congratulations!" And with that he exits, locking the door behind him.

"Now what?" Nightshroud asks. Adam just looks at him.

They wait. Tammo breaks the silence. "How do we get out of here?"

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Scum win! I have to go to work in a bit, and won't be back for about 14 hours, so the photos and story will come then. No use making you wait and puzzle over things.
Congratulations to the surviving scum team, the killers, Nightshroud and Shadows, and to the recruiters, JimB and iamded, as well as their recruitees, Tammo and Adam, and to the departed, badboy, Alopex, and Darthpotato.
Thanks everyone for playing!
Congrats, scum! I'm not sure if I completely deserve this though because I was killed the night I was recruited. :laugh: Anyway, thanks for hosting, def! It was a pretty fun game! This was also my first Town game because I was scum in my previous two so I obviously still need work on being Town.
def, this was an awesome game. Thanks for taking the time to host and providing us with weeks of entertainment. You always keeps us on our toes, giving us fresh concepts to challenge the rut we get in here at EB Mafia. Thanks for challenging us, yet again. Criticism later. :tongue:
Congratulations, Scum teams. :thumbup:
JimB, I knew you were scum :tongue:
But congratulations, nonetheless. To all the scum.
The town totally screwed itself over. Not only did we just yell at ourselves, but we brought the scum team together.
BigCam, I wish you had told me about Alopex first instead of going public with it. I was in contact with the vig that day and we could easily have taken him out without risking the scum teams getting together, leaving the lynch to other suspicions that the scum can't be too sure about.
The town, wow, we did a fantastic job lining ourselves up on the firing line, huh? :laugh: . Oh, well.
Thanks def for hosting this unique game. It was a fun new concept and was certainly exciting to work through it, even if we did balls it up pretty badly. Despite some annoyances through the game (Banana Sphinx, so harshly stole my vote :cry4: ), it. Was a fun game to play and one that is very well structured and balanced. I knew there had to be more roles to the scum team than just killer and recruiter, I just wasn't sure which ones. Despite losing, this is one of my favorite mafia games here on Eb.
Woo! :grin: How was that last day for a twist?
I won't go into detail about everything until a little bit later, but I just wanted to say thanks so much to def for hosting. :wub: I really had a blast playing. The game itself, along with your great MOCs and hilarious narrative, really made this game special. And sorry you had to put up with some of our (my) shit. The frustration wasn't directed at you, but believe me when I say that all things considered, I really had an awesome time. :sweet:
JimB, I knew you were scum :tongue:
Of course you did. :grin: You should have lynched me when you had the chance...
Really?! I was typing up a really long post explaining my suspicions (and my role), and when I finish and hit "Post", I see that the topic has been locked! Oh well :classic: I was the vig, in case anybody was wondering.
if the game hadn't ended, I hoped you would go to TPRU after I died and then work something out there. I guess there's no point to it now :laugh:
You didn't give me trouble at all. There's no problem clarifying your role and the rules with the host. It's the host's job to make sure everyone knows their role and how it works.
With that, an apology to Scouty, I'm sorry your role was poorly worded. I was sloppy when sending out roles. I had them written in my book, but didn't type them up until after I'd posted the Night Zero thread. With Scouty, it was titled psychic, but I changed it as I was typing, not thinking about a werewolf game role (I've never played werewolf rules mafia).
As well, I wrote "must" in most roles, but halfway through, I shifted to "may", so TinyPies, and the scum killers had the notion that their night action was optional. It wasn't my intent, but since I had sent it, I left it as is. All roles were to be mandatory, except the vig, which was expressly stated in his role.
He did. He was on your case in like every PM. :tongue: Should've believed him...
Congrats to the scum. That was....probably one of the worst townie games ever. :blush: But it was still quite fun to play, and an interesting, challenging concept. Thanks for hosting such an awesome game, def. :thumbup: :thumbup:
Ah, so TinyPies was the vig? Good thing we didn't rest on that because we had it pinned on Tumpetking the whole time. :laugh:
What was TinyPies' role? I feel like I've redeemed myself quite a bit from the mess I caused in Heartlake.. :blush:
No, I was the vig. I had just said that it was me above :laugh:
Oh, I wasn't being sarcastic. :wink: I knew I'd have trouble with Scouty since he first expressed his suspicions about me, and I'm surprised I didn't have more. It seems that he was the only one, though, and maybe Pandora. You, though, Pie... I almost messed up our whole game on you. I thought for sure that you were the sword killer, and I almost revealed myself. Good thing you trusted me and didn't ask any questions. :grin:
Oh, right. :blush:
You killed a townie on night zero when your role was optional :facepalm: I was pretty pissed off at that, but you did do much better when you hit badboy.
And Big Cam, you should take some credit for helping the scum unite, and Dragonator too! The approach of the game had to be a little different, and simply announcing people's allegiance in thread was not the best way to approach it. It was a new game, so I would have thought the townies would have discussed this a little in thread.
Oh, right. :blush:
You were in my list, too, but virtually everyone was. Scouty laid out my post-mortem case, but nobody latched onto that either. Too bad I didn't have time, with all the singing, to explain to him the further Scum tells I saw in our PMs. :hmpf:
But, you did make, almost word for word, the same Scummy post I yelled at you for in Ragnarok. It was like a Scum beacon...
What? I don't know what you're talking about! :tongue:
I know, that's not my proudest kill in this game... But I was almost ecstatic when badboy turned up scum, though. I would have killed Alopex, too, if he hadn't have been lynched. I wanted to kill Shadows early in the game, just to test his signature claim, but then got worried he was one of those killers that would kill whoever targeted them. :grin:
Sorry for being such a bad vigilante, guys!
I think part of my night zero kill was because I got excited that I got excited that I had a night action that I actually got to use. :blush:
As for my other kills, they were suspicions that I had or that people I trusted had. DarthPotato was just kind of a luck thing, I wasn't entirely sure about him, but I'm happy that I had killed him then! :laugh:
So, I was that bad of a vig, JimB? :tongue: What tipped you guys off? Why didn't you kill me if you thought I was the vig? Funny thing, I was pegged as vig in Police Infiltration (but that time I wasn't).
Anyways, Ummm, overall, I feel a little bit less Tuckfarded this time around, but I know there is always room for me to improve, and I am still trying to find my style of playing these games. Hopefully I will soon, I don't want to end up as scum and not know what I'm doing. :sceptic:
Well, congrats, fellow scummos! :sweet: It feels good to survive another game. :laugh:
I have to admit, when Shadows contacted Alopex asking him to invite him into our scum PM, I was pretty skeptical (hence why we didn't join up until today :tongue:). Luckily for us, though, none of us were major kill targets, so waiting so late to unite didn't hurt us too badly. :thumbup:
Did my block actually stop you from doing anything?
Oh, yes, I remember catching wind of your suspicions, too. Good thing you were dead. :tongue: The "beacon" was unintentional, a scumtell, I guess.
So, I was that bad of a vig, JimB? :tongue: What tipped you guys off? Why didn't you kill me if you thought I was the vig? Funny thing, I was pegged as vig in Police Infiltration (but that time I wasn't).
Hey, when did I say bad? You helped us greatly! :tongue: But seriously, it was Tammo who first thought you were the vig. You went after badboy in thread one day, and the next night he was dead. It also seemed like the vig didn't quite know what they were doing, with the targets you picked. No offense, of course. We were still afraid that you had hooked up with the town block after that badboy kill.
