gotoAndLego Posted January 30, 2013 Posted January 30, 2013 For an upcoming display i thought it would be cool to mount a small camera in the front of train and send that feed to an iPad we would have on display using either BlueTooth or a WiFi network. Does anyone have experience doing this? Quote
alainneke Posted January 30, 2013 Posted January 30, 2013 (edited) If you have an iPhone or iPod touch, you can mount that on front of the train and perform a FaceTime call (over WiFi) to your iPad. It will look a bit weird, but hey, so do people taking pictures with an iPad :) Edited January 31, 2013 by alainneke Quote
lostdriveway Posted January 31, 2013 Posted January 31, 2013 It could be possible with the right combination of apps - For example - there is a stop motion animation app for the ipad which you can connect to your iphone or ipod touch over wifi for the use of the camera. otherwise you are going to be limited to whichever app you can find that will allow you to connect a third party camera for a live view.... maybe if there is an app for something like the GoPro or Contour over wifi that would work as well. kieran Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 what about an IP camera, with a built n web server then you just connect to it using the browser, over wifi not sure on the rules of posing links to shopping sites, think its ok? so something like this http://gb.dinodirect.com/ip-network-camera-wifi-wireless-ins-wfip12b.html?vn=RGlub2RpcmVjdEZ1Y2s&AFFID=33&source=sem may do the job, just the size to think about Quote
