I am amazed by all the great entries in this contest! I wanted to do a theater, but it quickly became apparent that an indoor theater was better suited to a modular build than the winter village. So, I went with an outdoor theater in the park. Everyone may have to retreat indoors if it starts snowing.

The set includes the stage, seating, a playground, and a popcorn/snack cart.

The Nutcracker is fighting the Rat King. The Christmas tree background for the stage can be easily rotated to change the setting for another play. In this case a performance of White Christmas.

Backstage is playable with a costume stand and a few props. A stage hand sits above in the rigging.

Here is the old-style playground with slide, teeter-totter, and merry-go-round... probably metal... cold and unpleasant in the winter. The teenage brother is spinning his little brother on the merry-go-round.

Yep, cute is the word....actually original is the word to, not the playground (which is great) but the staging area...cool work (pardon the pun) 'eliza'.....good luck and Brick On in the snow (just watch out for the Rat King though) ! :sweet:

This is gorgeous. Echoing the others, this is a great, original idea that has been beautifully executed.

The look on the little boy's face brings back some memories.

I love that snack/popcorn cart. Immediately recognizable. I haven't seen too many outdoor plays, so I can't attest to the authenticity of it all, but the stage looks great. The playground is much needed these days when most kids are indoors playing.

Good luck in the contest.
