I downloaded plans from www.brickcitydepot.com for their Commercial building/Bar combo (http://www.brickcitydepot.com/city-building-instructions.html) and I then decided to extend out the Commercial Building by doubling it in size and stuff it full of a micro-brewery. It's still a Work In Progress and I'd like to add an office and a washroom in the next iteration, but I thought I'd share it with the forum to see if other ideas were forthcoming.

Here's the front - I can't claim any credit for the facade. All I did was double the width to 32-bricks. Brick City Depot have done a fantastic job!

Here's the Ground floor.

The Ground floor contains the large mashing vats. There's a shelf full of sacks of hops ready to be added (via the red doors on top of the vats), there's a water supply, and there's a shelf full of other supplies (that was in the original BCD plans)

The Top floor contains the bottling plant

There's a tray of empty glasses on the conveyor belt, and as they pass through the filling station they're topped up with beer (though the beer looks a bit orangey - I didn't have any trans-brown!) and then they pass through to the bottling and packing part of the machine. Finally on the downslope belt there's two full box of beers produced and ready for dispatch.

Finally, a shot of the rear of the building.

I like the grungy, decayed feel to it and as I said the source building is from www.brickcitydepot.com and any credit for the outside must go to them. The plans they provided were excellent!

Thanks for reading and comments and criticisms welcome!

So, what should I add?

Very nice brewery you have, eurotrash. Perhaps, since it looks like it lives in a city, you could add a bar inside or a pub next to it? You could also try making a driveway segment for lorries to pull up next to or behind it and fill up with beer.

Good luck adding to this build!

This looks great. I like how you have done the interior, especially the conveyor belt for the bottling and packing! Well done.

Just one suggestion. Do you need somewhere for a truck to pull up to take a load? Maybe large double doors at the back?

I built the Bar that came with the instructions from www.brickcitydepot.com - although I did change the color combination to suit my available bricks. So, my little town has this micro-brewery, a bar, another bar (http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=78161) and a WIP restaurant. Oh, and vague plans for an old-style English Pub. There's definitely a theme going on here

That's a good idea! Thanks!

what brand will it be?! Nice MOC apart from the brand as well :)

What brand? I'm not sure, but here's a picture of my latest homebrew.... It's thirsty work building with Lego

Here's the micro-brewery with the Bar/Pub next door. It's not in a great part of town. The pavement's all busted up and there's weeds growing through the cracks.

Again this Pub/Bar is a brickcitydepot creation - all I did was change the color scheme to reflect the bricks I had on hand

Brilliant job you've done, really atmospheric.

I've just finished building some brewery delivery vehicles myself, I'll try and get them photographed and show them.

Nice job all around. I like seeing our models modified like this. Great job on the brewery. I am working on something similar at the moment so it's great to get some inspiration.

The Bar/ pub looks great as well. The different color scheme threw me off for a few seconds. I knew I recognized it but it took me a few seconds to realize what it was. I like the creativity going on here. Thanks

I like this one: it has a good 'vibe' with the combined colors.

I especially like the way that you could add so much functions of a brewery in a rather small space.

That building really needs some maintenance. I would start with the lamps next to the front door. They really bring the neighborhood done!

Hahahaha! Thanks for pointing that out - I'll get my team of minifig handymen to fix that right up!
