Captain Nemo Posted March 1, 2013 Posted March 1, 2013 Just a quick, yet surprisingly complicated build. I’m rather happy with how it turned out; it’s simple but it works and I think it looks great. Really, I’m just using this as a test run before I eventually make a micro Barad-dûr; which I intend to use the cool Palantiri head for the eye once it’s released (See it here! I called it! No one can use it! ). Regardless, I’m happy with my Orthanc, especially with the spires which use Venom’s new back piece to hold them in place. Enjoy ~Nemo Quote
soccerkid6 Posted March 1, 2013 Posted March 1, 2013 Excellent micro, you really captured the feel of Orthanc Great micro-ents too Quote
rpmac91 Posted March 1, 2013 Posted March 1, 2013 I really like how you did Saruman on his balcony, and the ents. Looks great! Quote
Nefarious Posted March 1, 2013 Posted March 1, 2013 Brilliant! Adorable little Saruman, somehow it's quite easy to picture his upset state of mind. :P Quote
Brickington Posted March 1, 2013 Posted March 1, 2013 Very professional build you have there! I love the tiny Saruman and ents! Quote
Mr_Malfoy Posted March 1, 2013 Posted March 1, 2013 Excellent mini-representation of Orthanc. Those mini Ents are so cute! Quote
Eurolock Posted March 2, 2013 Posted March 2, 2013 I really like how micro-Saruman appears to be leaning over the balcony looking down. Amazing what you can do with a tooth. Quote
Str0ngbad Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 I really like this micro and after studying it for a while I'm still scratching my head trying to figure out how the balcony piece is attached. I can't wait to see your Barad-dur. Quote
BlueberryWaffles Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 I love it and can't wait for Bara-Dur. Quote
Redhead1982 Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Well done. You obviously have a skill for LOTR microbuilds. My favourite are the ents, as they're very recognizable. As for Saruman, I saw him only after it was mentioned that it's included in the MOC. Quote
Mutant Orc Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 I agree with all the positive comments- I really love this little display piece- very cleverly made! Quote
