FABULAND Vehicle: The Red Baroness

The most successful flying ace of the Fabuland Fighter Squadron, Kriemhilde von Nebelkrähen flew a bright red triplane which earned her the nickname "The Red Baroness", despite having no claim at all to nobility.

Wanted to have really thin, studless wings, and with a bit of curve, so the solution was to use turntable tops underneath.

Six cylinder engine and twin machine guns, and of course the obligatory frog.

Had to have at least a few Fabuland pieces in there, and the tail felt like a natural addition. Was a bit difficult to integrate it well though..

I meant to comment on this earlier, but never got around to it. It really is a great model, and although I know you said you thought your custom decals weren't perfect I have to say I like them a lot. They really add to the build. Well done - looking forward to getting a closer look at this! :)
