de Gothia and his soldiers tried to stop the Hand of Corruption´s attcks on the villages of Benoic. When they stopped for the day at a ruined house they heard the sound of horses and men from the sorrounding forest. de Gothia ordered all his soldiers to be ready to fight. Soon they realized that it was not soldiers of the Hand.

de Gothia: Halt! Who are you!

Leader of the little band: We are from the Mystic Islands! And we have no intention to start a fight with you, my Lord! My name is Derryth. Who are you?

dG: I´m Lord of this County. My name is de Gothia and we are searching for Murgol and his raiding grunts!

Derryth: I´m sorry to disapoint you but Murgol and his men fled when we attacked them three days ago. They are all back in Cedrica and await the final battle!

dG: A shame, he has many Benoic childrens on his conscience!

D: When the time is ready you will meet him and his Master!

de Gothia and Derryth was up all night discussing their history and their future. When the morning broke they were busy studying a map over Avalonia. They decided to march togheter to Cedrica.

One month later they looked down at Cedrica. It was a cold day in March.

8679644358_1a8660b643.jpg

D: Are all the other Guilds assembled as well?

dG: Yes, we plan to attack the city from different directions. The Mitgardians from north, we from west..

D: And the Kaliphlins from the South?

dG: Haha, yes, you are a quick learner!

D: How about the Nocturnians?

dG: We have told them about the day and about the attack. But we have no idea if the will come to aid us in this Crusade against Revolword!

D: Time will tell then?!

dG: Indeed! Now I´m just worried about Cedrica!

D: What about it?

dG: Well, it looks empty!

D: You´re right! No signs of soldiers or ballistas on the towers. It feels abandoned!

dG: A nasty trick by Revolword! We have to check it out! General, notify the other Guilds about this and make sure that scouts will look it up!

General: Yes, my Lord!

When the scouts returned they reported about open gates, no soldiers and no citizens. The city was empty... The Lords from the Guilds decided to march into the Capital and find out what happened to it.

de Gothia and his men started to search for civilians. They looked in every house but they didn´t find a soul.

8679592640_34c41c0cb1.jpg

dG: Break up the doors that are locked and make sure that we are not ambushed by the soldiers of the Hand!

When the evening came the Capital had been searched and the Guilds started to make their way into the Great Keep of Cedrica. Like the city the Keep was abandoned and they all searched through it in hope to find any trace of Revolword, soldiers of the Hand or civilians.

de Gothia and his men entered a big room with a large stair in the middle. They heard cryings and when they looked on the walls they saw childrens. Hundreds of them. Chained to the wall with a guild flag over their head. The men rushed to the walls and tried to help the little ones.

A dark and cold voice interrupted them.

Murgol: So, you like my paintings?! Much more fun when they are alive! Don´t you think?

de Gothia looked up to the stair and there was Murgol. Along with Revolword. But Revolword was on his knees, chained up as well!

M: Suprised?!

dG: How...why...?

M: Well, let´s say we are not ready to die for this man and his ideas! We have killed the Elemetals.

dG: So?! What do we do now? Where is the KIng?!

M: The King is dead! Revolword killed him right away. But here is the deal. I will give you Revolword and you will give us our freedom. We will leave Cedrica without a fight and head home.

dG: How about we kill you and then take Revolword!?

M: Really, don´t you have higher expectation on us? Didn´t you noticed that your Capital had no civilians? We have them! Every one of them! So go ahead and attack us and we will make sure that all of them die! And that my friend, will be your fault! So how will it be?

dG: You have my word, you are free...

June came, the Capital of Avalonia turned into a place of happiness. The war was ended and the marriage between de Gothia and Lena Chorian was done!

They stood in front of the Cathedral of Albion. The bonds between Avalonia and Mitgardia was now more stronger then ever. But even if de Gothia was happy, a thought gnaw in his head. He was sure that Murgol would come back. Murgol was no lover of peace, he wanted power. If only peace would come now, de Gothia said to him self..

C&C most welcome! Thanks to my Avalonians homies for tips and ideas with my mocs!

Nice story, DG :sweet::thumbup: .

All the builds look good, But I like the second and third ones best.

The only thing that bothers me in the third one is that the very top of both towers look a little abruptly ended.

I really like the use of the SW planet up top.

Great job DG, especially with the third build which is fantastic! Love the triangular arches and all the details on the wall! And strings of flags like that are always winners! The interior is awesome as well, love the back wall! I do think your first build just... IDK, lacks something. Seems to me you could do better than that. Part of the problem is that your forced perspective is not rectangular in appearance; instead it looks something like a trapezoid. Nevertheless, quite an impressive entry!

Yay!!! Interesting way to keep a baddy around and leave it open to the question: "Who will be king?"

That third build is marvelous. Absolutely stunning. I too like the planet.

Question: did you attach it, or just sit it on top? In the tower at Queenscross, I could not figure a good way to attach my dome and just let it sit there. I would be interested in figuring out how to make those pieces more stable and look good.

The scene with the houses is lovely, you really have a knack for buildings at that scale  You even inspired me to try some like these.

The interior looks majestic and the pattern in the middle of the floor is great

The long anticipated wedding scene is fantastic, the stained glass, flags, and architecture are stunning

Cool to see other Avalonians there, though a few other Mitgardians would have been neat too

Well written story as well, a strong entry for sure!

excellent stuff dG. I love everything about it. The forced perpective, the indoor, the wedding, everything is great!

I agree with Kai that the forced perspective build looks a bit unfinished. Possibly the tree (could use some slopes to debrickify it) as well as the center of Cedrica looks like an empty field. I guess I always imagined Cedrica as a large crowded city. But your other two builds are simply splendid. And of course my favorite is the cathedral. I love the entry arches (never seen triangular arches in a MOC before but they are awesome), windows, flags, and all the detailed wall decor.

Thanks guys! Glad to hear you liked the story and the mocs! I was keen to have some evil force in GoH so we could build some war mocs! :)

The idea with "cut off" towers on the cathedral was inspired by this http://openbuildings.com/buildings/bristol-cathedral-profile-6662#!buildings-media/2

I agree about Cedrica. It is the largest city in the country so it should be bigger. The problem for me was time. I became father to my second son in the middle of the building for CH6. Of course I choosed my family and sons before my Lego so that´s why that build suffered from more details.

We have to wait and see what happens to Lena and de Gothia and little ones!

The large dome is sitting on top of the building. Nothing is attached. I just built a base for it to rest in.

Hehe time was against me so there was no more sigfigs in the last scene! :sceptic:

Thanks again!

Great ch VI entry, both excellent builds and a good story! I like the ending with the joy of the marriage but still with a hint of darkness on the horizon with Murgol on the loose ;)

Same as you my plans for Ch VI were derailed by the arrival of a little one (our first) stealing my time away from building... And same as you my plan now is to rush a fp third build and see if I can put the finishing touches on the other ones before the deadline. But thanks for showing that it can be done! :)

I think the forced perspective scene achieved the "forced perspective" very well. It could use a little more detail but I know these are not easy scenes to build. The mountain horizon is great.

Your extra scenes are great.

Searching in Cedrica is especially nice.

Your great keep scene has a very clean design. The idea of living children as paintings is awesome. The floor pattern is great. It reminds me of something from an old fantasy rpg. Great scene overall.

The wedding scene is your most beautiful scene ever! I love the architecture here. It has a very unique style. The guests really add a feeling of life and celebration to the scene. The dome really adds a lot.The doorway is really impressive as is the whole scene. Awesome work!

Very entertaining story, especially now the threat isn't really over yet...

And ofcourse the mocs are stunning, I think you really excel in making small houses. Nevertheless is the cathedral also a piece of art.

Also nice to see quite some sigfigs. I can see Elon is very happy. And Lena did something new with her hair for the wedding.

The idea of living children as paintings is awesome.

A bit mean, bit agreed for sure!

Fantastic builds and story! The cathedral is top notch, and the interior scene is absolutely amazing! I'm glad to see I won't be the only one with a forced perspective microbuild as one of my builds too!

Thanks guys!:)

Gongrats Gideon to your baby! Hope everything works well for your family!:)

Thanks BB! Glad to hear such praise from such a great builder! Can't wait for your entries!

Ecc: yes, I really wanted an enemy for us! Problem is where they went!? Scattered across historica..? And yes, Lena fixed hair for the wedding! Mermaid touch they called it!;)

I really thought I had commented on this one :sceptic:

Beautifull builds! That church is top notch with stunning detailing :cry_happy:

And good luck in your marriage :classic: Hopefully Murgol will not take revenge very quickly!

Love it. The interior scene is especially eyecatching with the sumptuous gallery. And who doesn't love a happy ending, especially when it's so beautifully presented. I agree the FP build is a little blocky, the vig of knocking the doors in is first class though. As said before, you are so good at this intimate scale of building.

Question: did you attach it, or just sit it on top? .... I would be interested in figuring out how to make those pieces more stable and look good.

I puzzled over this since they were first released, and now I have the answer. It's so simple you'll laugh... stack of 2x2 bricks inside!

:classic:

Excellent entry DG! I like all of your builds, but the wedding scene is awesome! I love the church/cathedral with all of it's details. I also really like the border on your showdown scene. I loved the twist with Victor's imprisonment and the civilian hostages - very unique. Great job!
