Matthias Posted May 1, 2013 Posted May 1, 2013 Hello everybody, I own all old Pirate and soldierships and sets. When I got the last I thought everything is all right, but that´s not true. The Pirates have a lot of huge ships, the redcoats have the imperial Flagship of 2010 and the great imperial trading post. The Bluecoats have Eldorado Forress as the best Lego Pirate set every (in my opinion) and the nice CC. But there is one faction witch owns only crap. There are two Armada sets, 1 is a joke (a hovel with green doors) the other is a bad joke (rattly, colorful ship, with one canon). So I decided to build a new Armada Flagship, witch shall look like it could have looked, if lego would build it as a bigger version of the little ship they really build. 175C That is my ARMADA FLAGSHIP: Quote
Brickington Posted May 1, 2013 Posted May 1, 2013 Wow! Pretty good job! I love this set and you made a pretty good job on making it bigger. I would like to see to gun deck if possible. The other thing that comes to my mind is the figurehead, she is the same color as the crew which is a bit strange for a figurehead. Also, here: you notice that after the canons, the ship goes down a little before the captain's cabin. That is unusual in a ship, thus that is a bit strange as well. But other than that, great job! Matthias Posted May 1, 2013 Author Posted May 1, 2013 Thank you for your tips, the figurehead just got a new body :) With reference to the gun deck, the is no more to see, as you can see on the last picture of my first post. The white ship parts are to small to put a lot of stuff into it. Ther are only the blue planks, a green canon on it, and white bricks that seperate the canons from each other canons. Quote
Grimmbeard Posted May 2, 2013 Posted May 2, 2013 I like this a lot . You did a great job with those narrow hulls, and the whole thing is nicely detailed Quote
Matteo1130 Posted May 3, 2013 Posted May 3, 2013 Nice, the only thing I would change is the position of the back mast. I would place it backwards nearby the sterncastle. All the other features recalls the original set in a huge shape, nice work!! Quote
ManInATopHat Posted May 4, 2013 Posted May 4, 2013 Beautiful! Made nicely while retaining a classic look. I like it! Quote
mauroviolato Posted August 15, 2024 Posted August 15, 2024 Wonderful!!! Do you have instruction or another pictures? Quote
