pif500 Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 Hi, Here is my entry for a little contest on LEGO Lord of the Rings group on flickr What do you think about the cobblestone wall? Quote
-Carson Haupt- Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 I've seen that technique used for a floor, but never a wall. I really like it. The muted accent colors in the wall really set the mood well. Quote
Spider-Man Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 Those walls are fantastic I also really like the stone column, simple but really effective! Great all around build! Quote
Infernum Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 Amazing walls! I love the cobblestone technique! Frodo also looks great with those bags! Nice work! Quote
Eurolock Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 The walls look great. I love Aragorn's pipe! How is that staying in place? Quote
Wedge09 Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 Nice work  I like in particularly the walls technique Quote
pif500 Posted May 12, 2013 Author Posted May 12, 2013 The walls look great. I love Aragorn's pipe! How is that staying in place? With a 1/2 cutted pneumatic hose in the hand ;) Thanks for the coms :) Quote
Ecclesiastes Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 Those walls are indeed outstanding, but also some npu like the use of the hairbrush! Quote
Orange Leader Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 (edited) Someone had to build the Prancing Pony room and yes, I do like your cobbletoned walls. I remember this part from the book and I like how you put Aragorn in the corner behind the door with his pipe. I can imagine that he's not much visible with the lights dimmed, scaring the inn master later. I realised that It's the inn's mainroom instead of the room of the Hobbit's, my bad. :) Edited May 12, 2013 by Orange Leader Quote
odidoma Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 It's said before but great work with the walls, I hope I will get time to copy it in one of my own mocs. Quote
Gideon Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 I agree with the praise for the successful wall technique, looks fantastic! Quote
