rebelego Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 Has anyone tried LEGO and BBB train wheels on LGB tracks? Does it work or is the flange too high? Quote
Hrw-Amen Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 LGB? Light Greyish Blue? I was not aware that TLG made track in that color? I assume though that if they do they would be made to fit the same wheels that all the other track fits? Quote
Hoexbroe Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 Has anyone tried LEGO and BBB train wheels on LGB tracks? Does it work or is the flange too high? It´s a good idea. I haven´t tried it or seen it tried, but even without that, I´m quite convinced that the flanges won´t be a problem. LGB-tracks have a very high (=Huge!) profile. For example; LGB rolling stock will NOT run on Märklin 1-track, because of the flanges... However, I fear that the gauge is not the same as the standard Lego one. BUT... If you excluseively use wheels for cross-beam axles, you should be able to adjust to the LGB-gauge. If the wheels will negotiate points is another question. (=I have no idea) @Hrw-Amen; LGB is Lehmann GrossBahn: http://www.lgb.com/en/ Quote

zephyr1934 Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 BBB's photo gallery has at least 3 examples. One, two, and three. Quote
