We journeyed back to Rascliff Castle, a powerful and ancient Mitgardian safehaven. Here we will be able to regroup out of the reach of the Hand of Corruption.

- Sir Infernum

dscn9652.jpg

I love how this turned out, my biggest MOC yet!

dscn9653.jpg

Lowest level.

dscn9654.jpg

Crossbowing battlement! Manned by a warrior of Rascliff castle.

dscn9655.jpg

Another battlement, with an Arcium Archer. I love the doors! Inspired by SK and SoT!

dscn9656.jpg

There's a third battlement type thing.

dscn9657.jpg

Rascliff Castle harbors hundreds of Mitgardians every day. This is a ranger who is staying at the castle.

dscn9658.jpg

dscn9659.jpg

I love this window technique! Not sure who invented it.

dscn9660.jpg

Tower segment.

dscn9661.jpg

dscn9666.jpg

So you can see the floors.

dscn9667.jpg

There's a full interior! It's also modular! :sweet:

dscn9669.jpg

Sir Infernum and his second in command talking to the lord of Rascliff Castle.

dscn9671.jpg

This storage room is full of barrels of purified water, as well as drinking glasses, in case of siege.

dscn9673.jpg

The blacksmith's room. Barrels of arrows, a chest of weapons, a table for an ornate blade, and a great sword mounted to the wall. I love the technique to attach the sword. :classic:

dscn9675.jpg

Bunk bed!

dscn9677.jpg

A... room...

dscn9678.jpg

The great hall on the bottom floor. Who's that woman? To be revealed...

dscn9680.jpg

Platform for archers.

That's all! I love how this MOC turned out! I think it's my best MOC by a lot!

Hope you like it! :sweet:

Very cool, great features. I agree, those doors are awesome. I like that it is two-sided, and you have most of the basic castle functions covered in your build. Great job!

Thanks a ton Ska! :sweet:

Cooool! Nice interior as well!

Honestly, I didn't expected to see this, you really surprised me so excellent job!!

Thanks! Ha, ha, this is my first big MOC. :sweet:

Oooh! Amazing castle! It looks great, and it's very good for your first larger build. I do think that maybe some more plants or something (Like flags maybe) should be placed on or in front of the center outer wall, since it does look a bit flat from a front of view, but otherwise it's perfect!

Thanks! Good idea about the wall. :classic:

Wow, great build! I really like the wall with both a good color mix and texture, as well as the exciting interior.

A small photography tip is to temporary put black plates behind the walls to avoid light seeping through the cracks.

Way to go Infernum! Definitely your best build yet, the little river is a nice touch and I like the SNOT slopes under the battlements  Nice layout for the fortress, though there doesn't seem to be any way in :look:

Really cool to see you do an interior as well, the bunk bed, stairs to the arrow slits, and weapons room all look great  Keep it up, you're improving fast :classic:

Thanks for the tip! I'll use that next time. :classic:

Thanks! I like the SNOT too.

No way in this part of the fortress. The full one is much bigger.

this is an epic caslte infernum, so many things to like and the look is perfectly Mitgardia, somehow a mix of soccerkid, SoT and Eccs. Good Work! Only thing I don't like are the fleshy heads, but that's a matter of taste I suppose

Very nice. I think in some of the close-ups your wall technique looks a little busy, but when viewed as a whole, it's really quite effective. It looks like the walls have been there forever, but the surface has been scarred by time.

At first, I thought the walls were a bit too textured, but in reality I like the effect it gives. Makes me think of a very well used "ancient" castle.

Keep up the great work here. I like different segments also.

Thanks! Next time I think I'd put the dark bley pieces back a stud, so they look more like where the inner wall has been exposed. :classic:

Oh, that would be nice indeed. Maybe a half stud even? I look forward to your next creation!

While a half stud would likely look great, it'd be hard to work into the interior... I'll think about it!

Nice build! Keep them coming! :classic:

I am! Just waiting for it to stop storming. Might be a few days... :sceptic:

It's your biggest an in my opinion also your best, I think the stonework worked out really well and the ornamentation is top notch. And the interior with al the activities going on makes it all complete. Great job!

Thanks Ecc! I got another one done, and I think it's much better. :classic:
