de Gothia Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 They had travelled to Albion to the great market of the year when Lena felt labours. They went to the Keep and when the sun rose over the Pearl City de Gothia had a son. They named him Albion after the Capital of Avalonia. Just a little quick moc to celebrate my two sons. The second one will be coming later on in to the story! C&C as always welcome! Quote
Captain BeerBeard Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Looks like my real life bedroom but mine has much more gold and carpet. Nice tribute to your child. Quote
Alfadas Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 nice! Great use of the "helmet" piece as an towel for the baby. Quote
Maxim I Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Really cool chamber!! The colour combinations work very well! And congratz about your 2 sons!! Quote
soccerkid6 Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 (edited) Lovely little build, the colorscheme works beautifully and I like your furniture Looking forward to your tribute to your other son. What did de Gothia and Lena name their son? EDIT: Can't believe I didn't see his name in the description Edited June 20, 2013 by soccerkid6 Quote
Kayne Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Very cool DG! I love your interior builds, that is an arena that I am terrible at, but you continue to nail yours! Quote
Brickington Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Great build! Did you really name your son Albion? Quote
TheLegoDr Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 That's awesome. Not only is the build fantastic, but the purpose of the build is great. The room itself is well done. I like the smooth walls with the dark tan brick bricks. Keep up the great work!! Quote
Kai NRG Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Great job deGothia, I like the idea of using a turban for the clothes, though for the life of me I thought it was a decapitated head before I realized the head was backwards... I also really like those stools! Might have to steal borrow! Quote
-Carson Haupt- Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Looks amazing! Congrats! But don't you think he might roll off the bed? Quote
Wedge09 Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Great work  I like in particularly the walls and the use of the turban, at first sight I said to myself "They cut someone's head" Quote
MikeyB Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 well done and presented de Gothia. I need to get some bricks out! Quote
SkaForHire Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 A really excellent build. I agree that it looks very realistic. Quote
Kayne Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 I thought it was a decapitated head before I realized the head was backwards... That's funny, because that is exactly what I first thought too! Quote
Gideon Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Nice scene, I especially like the color choices and the furniture! I also thought it was a decapitated head at first, but it is a really clever part use :) Quote
Mike S Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 (edited) Nice build! Like some others, my first thought upon seeing the baby in the first pic was, "Why did a Kaliphlin get his head cut off?" I think its just the angle or maybe I'm now just used to the traditional piece usage... Edited June 20, 2013 by Masa of Kaliphlin Quote
de Gothia Posted June 20, 2013 Author Posted June 20, 2013 Thanks guys! :) The turban piece to the kid is no my idea, don´t know where I saw it the first time..? The decapitated head idea never occured to me but now when you mention it... it does look like it! And no, I didn´t name my son Albion. This son is actually three years old. It´s the other way around. I suggested the name Albion for my guildmates as the name of the capital and they all liked it. The name came up in my head after my son´s name. So the whole Pearl City is a tribute to my son´s name! Quote
ZCerberus Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 When is the second due? I didn't think he was here yet! New baby Avalonians all over!! Quote
Jason Cicchini Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 Touching, and not what I expected from the title of the thread. Great details as usual! Quote
Ecclesiastes Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 Whoop, whoop! Elon's a grandpa now! Love the design of the bed, and the overall color scheme. Quote
