SkaForHire Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 Hello Tourists, it looks like you have a couple more stops scheduled on your tour. Presently we are at the peak of a sacred mountain in the Rakath Mountains. The locals call it Shenpal, but we at the Tourist Board call it Yet’I Mountain. yeticard by skaforhire, on Flickr Shrinepostcard by skaforhire, on Flickr The Yer’ti tribe have made this mountain the home of their religion. Like many of the tribes around these parts, the Yer’ti look at the Yet’I as their spiritual avatar. For this reason, they constructed a shrine on the tallest mountain in the region that pays tribute to the Yet’I. rakathritual by skaforhire, on Flickr Unfortunately, this mountain peak was inaccessible through climbing, so the Yer’ti constructed a path up the sister mountain of Shenpal, Olenpal. From the top of Olenpal, one has to cross a rickety bridge to the shrine on top of Shenpal. DSC_3005 by skaforhire, on Flickr Unfortunately for the priests and the acolytes who are escorting her to the mountain top, the girl that was to be sacrificed was taken from her village without permission. That means it is up to the local Kaliphlin magistrate to climb the mountain and retrieve the girl before it is too late. However the magistrate is no fighter. Luckily, he found an unnamed knight from Ximus who was passing through the mountains to act as muscle on this mission. DSC_2993 by skaforhire, on Flickr --------------------- A little more editing, and I should get my last Inside Kaliphlin MOC up tonight too. I should say that this was completely inspired by the flags on the rope in Eryn's market. It reminded me of the fake shrine on Expedition Everest at Disney World. Which led to the Yeti mountain. soccerkid6 Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 That bridge design looks great! Nice rockwork too Quote
Maxim I Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 So many things to love in here!!! That's where the Alleenridders are standing for: fighting for justice (and honour) Thx for including one! Quote
Kai NRG Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 Very nice use of the flags and that bridge looks great as well! Quote
Erynlasgalen Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 Haha, funny thing- that is exactly what I was thinking about too when I did the flags, I love that section of the animal kimgdom. This build reminds me of the old adventurers sets, but so much cooler! The rocks and bridge are excellent and the whole thing has that windy worn look. Quote
TheLegoDr Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 Great bridge. Looks very rickety! I'd hate to walk across that, I'd be sacrificing myself... *chirp, chirp* Otherwise, great build. Great story. I like what I am seeing. Quote
Gideon Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 Scary altar, and those red acolytes really look mean as well! I can imagine the chasm below that bridge, and I would not want to cross it Quote
Infernum Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 Nice rockwork and great bridge! Nice work with the flags and alter too! Quote
de Gothia Posted July 3, 2013 Posted July 3, 2013 Feels like a TLG Indiana Jones set! That rope bridge is soo nice! Well done! Quote
